Love this gem of a store in La Paz! It was recommended by Tripadvisor as a place not to miss and they were right! We were looking for unique, good quality, local items as a special souvenir and were not disappointed! This is a family business and we were lucky enough to meet both Vickie and her precious mother, Juanita. We watched Juanita paint some of her hand made items and got a history of the family business from Vickie. Juanita is also known for her cooking and we purchased some homemade vanilla for friends and some of her homemade mole sauce-YUM! If you truly want an authentic gift to take home-this is your place. There are so many tourist places on the Malecon that sell cheap junk and it all looks alike. Take the extra time to go to Ceramic Ibarra-you will be glad you did!

We were here in La Paz in January and bought a few pieces. We love them. We came back and it’s definitely a must to buy a couple more pieces. We love that it’s a family run shop and has so much variety and beauty.

We visited Ibarra on our last visit to La Paz and really loved their pottery. My wife swore that on this trip she wasn't going to buy anything. Then she remembered that I'd broken a spoon holder so, of course, that had to be replaced. We ended up with a medium-sized vase and 8 or 10 smaller items. If you like colorful pottery, you'll find something you need.

You can watch them make pottery, and they have an amazing selection of pottery, glassware & crafts from the area. They will answer any questions you might have, and the prices are better than any tourist store around Cabo! Not far from the Malecon, we drove because it looked farther than it was, lots of street parking.

If you are looking for a shop where you can have a huge choice of pottery items of superb quality and reasonable price that place is a must - it is a pottery workshop as well so you can see how ladies are painting and creating all those gorgeous pieces - I got a bit of inside education on the history and colours which made the shopping experience that much more interesting. I managed to leave with one bag but was ready to break my bank in this shop- there was so many items I wanted to purchase but limited by a suitcase had to be selective- I will go there back for sure as it is a perfect place to buy gifts , souvenirs and in general things that are unique and very colourful.

A lovely studio! The art and pottery is unique and so incredibly beautiful and being made right in front of you! A wonderful variety which makes it to hard to choose what you want.

We had been looking for the most affordable colorful pottery store and we found it. yes, it is a bit off the beaten path but that is exactly what we were looking for. We bought about 15 pieces of pottery and have had them now for 2 years. They travelled well (across the seas) and now i am seeing how i can get more and order and ship to me!

We bought a number of large, medium and small Geckos for our walls. The colors are perfect. we also found many items to take home for gifts. Good reasonable prices, and the items (or most) are made there. I'll post the pic of the geckos strapped into the car seats with the 2 bags of smaller geckos and other random things.

Great pottery shop featuring home grown as well as traditional pottery. Have visited twice. Once about 3 years ago with my wife and friends and just recently 7/18 on a fishing trip. Had a great time both times exploring their wares. Walked out with large purchases both times. The second time I earned some points at home with a much admired birthday selection. Will make this a must stop on all future La Paz trips.
