Pasear por la avenida principal y aledañas es una verdadera gozada, nos encantó lo pintoresco del pueblito y los edificios, los locales comerciales muy lindos y se pasa muy bien el rato. Muy recomendable para pasear.

I don’t know how a street in Todos Santos is an attraction, however it is one of the main streets that has the majority of the attractions that are nearby. Hotel California is on this street, worth the time to explore the gift shop, open court and get a photo opportunity. Calle Benito Juarez turns into Mexican Federal Highway 19 when leaving Todos Santos. Arranging a day trip from Los Cabos to Todos Santos should be on your list of things to do while in the area.

There is much to see on the main tourist street here. There are many shops selling silver, clothing, hand crafted items and all things Mexican. There is an open air flea market near the Hotel California. Even if you don't plan to buy, enjoy the art work in the many galleries. Other recommended stops are the Casa de la Cultura museum, the old mission and of course The Hotel California. Adjacent to the mission is a great place for a photo op.

This is my go to place when I am shopping for silver. The prices in Todos Santos are better, the choices more unique, and the customer service very attentive. I especially like the small shop right behind the Emporio where the best deals can be negotiated. Rudy is a pleasure to work with and loves to share his knowledge of the history and making of silver. Enjoy.

Fue con mi esposa y nos encantó el lugar, todo el pueblo es muy bonito, en el centro cada detalle está bien cuidado, es verdad que está lleno de extranjeros pero nunca nos sentimos menos, recomiendo mucho visitar este pueblito.

Calle Benito Juarez is the main street in Todos Santos. It’s an easy drive from Cabo on a well-maintained 4-lane highway. We rented a car for the day and really enjoyed ourselves. The Mexican Tourism Secretary declared Todos Santos a Pueblo Magico (Magic Town) in 2006. To be honest, we were drawn there by the urban legend of Hotel California and didn’t expect much else. We were surprised by the picturesque cobblestone streets and original brick buildings that have been turned into art galleries, shops and restaurants. We browsed the stores, visited the Mission church, and lingered at Tequila Sunrise for lunch. The main square had local vendor stalls (not sure if they are there every day). I got some darling hand-made dolls for our girls and dried fruit for snacking. On the drive to Todos Santos, we stopped at Playa Los Cerritos and Punta Lobos (we tried for Palm Beach but turned around). I know that many tours make the trip in half a day. That seems rushed to me. Take your time and visit the beaches too. I’m sorry we didn’t plan to spend a night or two in Todos Santos. And now for a fun piece of trivia: The Tropic of Cancer (Tropico de Cancer) runs through Todos Santos. One of the shops had a plaque outside.

We rented a car so the trip was affordable and fun, no crowded buses on a schedule. The highway from San Jose del Cabo was easy and enjoyable, spotted some whales, stopped for a photo on the rugged desert.
The Hotel was a highlight of our trip; we looked, had a bite to eat, shopped at the emporio. Plenty of Mexican art, shops and sights in the old town.
