Feb 22 - Mar 2/24 - if you would like to experience downtown PV, this is a great location. It's in the heart of the Zona Romantica district. The staff were amazing and helpful. The bed was super comfortable. Nothing fancy but every thing we needed for a 10 day trip to Mexico. No bells and whistles but it's an affordable hotel with a kitchenette and the accessories to cook your own food. We asked for a room away from the street as the reviews said it was noisy. We stayed in Suite #1 and couldn't hear a pin drop. Azfran's restaurant has EPIC food if you want a higher quality of restaurant. Excellent service.

Stay away from this organized crime hotel. I was robbed and humiliated by thieves from the area. Hotel administration was aware and did not provide assistance.

Pésimo servicio al cliente, la encargada de reservación y el de los teléfonos son prepotentes. La hospitalidad no se ve. Uno va a descansar y desde el telefilm pelados. No vamos a volver.

Nice resort but way overpriced. You can enjoy beachfront dining and swimming in numerous other locations for 1/2 the price.

Have to go to Garbo's for the music and fabulous piano bar. Pianist in the early evening is really nice and can play just about anything you request.

We enjoyed our many walks along this street. There are beautiful things to see, some we weren't interested in, but it was all in good fun and a great time. We had a fabulous time in Puerto Vallarta.

I would have given this a 5-star (or 5-green dots?) review back when I started strolling around Olas Altas and surrounding areas back in 2018, when I started visiting PVR. We visit PVR every year since, sometimes two or three times a year, and sadly, we have been witnessing how the quality of the place is going down.
We went there this past first week of December 2022, and we noticed that they are opening a lot of new "massage" places. There are many new developments, apartment buildings, some of which sell for more than half a million dollars, but I'm not sure the quality of life in the area (and where it seems to be heading to) is worth it.
That part of the Romantic Zone has always been a place for visitors to have fun, get loud, drink and buy inexpensive medication that require prescription in USA and Canada, but in the recent years, the area has increasingly become more of a nuisance with too many drunk people, too much loud music from bar to bar competing with each other, and men and women offering you a "massage" almost in every corner.
I hope at this point they realize that they might have to maintain certain quality in order to remain receiving the quality of visitors that enjoy the area. I hope this area doesn't suffer the same fate than Acapulco. And local government, please, improve your waste water and sewer system. Your city is growing and your plumbing isn't.

I am looking for a traditional mexican blanket, a request from a friend. I am in Nuevo P.V., but can easily get to P.V. anyone have sugestions on where to find it( i dislike shopping, prefer to go in, get what i need, and get out, all in 6 minutes or less lol)

I have a baby girl is two years old. I have booked a standard room for this hotel. May I get the hotel email address to send room request for higher floor (6+) quite room? which side is better? I don't know for standard room which side is quite.
