If you are interested in better, authentic Mexican and South American arts and crafts this is a place you should visit. There is a large variety of items - pottery, woven goods, jewelry, wood carvings, metal sculptures, and more on display. They are of a higher quality, better design and more unique than you find in most stores.
Been there on two visits, and the items we purchased always get favorable responses from our friends. Also the owner Neo is a wonderfully nice and knowledgeable person to work with.

Having traveled in Central and South America we were delighted to see the great variety of tapestries, pottery, baskets, and fine crafts on display. The owner was charming and open with his descriptions of the work before us. This place is unique in that much of the work comes from several countries. We stopped to look and ended up buying a unique piece. Don't let this one pass you by. Drop in and enjoy.

Interesting shop with variety of artwork (gourds, sculpture, pottery) and some alpaca clothing. Perhaps the most unique items were the banana leaf pottery and masks of birds (parrots, macaws, etc) from Chiapas, and many Peruvian figurine-based pieces (including nativities, market scenes, mask shops) Prices seemed on the high side. Definitely worth a stop in your shopping expeditions in PV.

Checked this out due to the glowing reviews on here and it read very nice but the are other galleries I enjoy more. It's all a matter of personal taste though

Excellent selection of textiles, paintings and crafts from various regions in Mexico. A must see if you're looking for unique, reasonably priced, hand made souvenirs to wow you friends with.

If you want some mexican souvenir with taste and sophistication ,come here.
Nice objects ,very well done and designed.
Prices are high but you will not keep them in your closet when you will be at home.
(if you want just a souvenir, go to a street market)

WE always go back to Galeria Alpacora to see what we can buy. The craft items are for various venues including mostly Latin America. Go take a look and maybe be intrigued to buy
something. Check out the mirrors with figures made by hand from Peru. They are museum quality We bought one a few years ago and really are very happy with it.

Beautiful artwork in ceramic, wood, fabric and silver, most of it starting at $100 US (though there are earrings and small sculptures at less). The objects are presented well, not cluttered and the staff is helpful without pressuring.

Friendly but not harassing staff and amazing art pieces - "Day of the Dead", beautiful vases, etc. They were very helpful in properly wrapping and packing the items for transport back to the U.S.

We love this store!they have the most beautiful ,one of a kind,original artworks that I have never seen anywhere else.We puchased a hand carved ,original piece from this store at what I believe was a fair price .They arranged for it to be crated and shipped which worked out perfectly.I would not miss this shop if you would like to see some very beautiful alpaca wool shawls,blankets and more.!

Hello! I am hoping that the galleria Alpacora opens promptly at 10am tomorrow or earlier. We wanted to purchase something but leave town a little after 10.

I would contact the Galeria by phone and make an appointment.
We have always visited mid day so it wasn't an issue. But the owner is very nice and accommodating and would not be surprised if he make arrangements to meet with you. Good Luck
