Excellent, great food, wonderful history. We started our trip with a tour with Sebastian. He did an amazing job. Great food and great knowledge about Mexico City. 10/10 recommend.

My 3 girlfriends and I went on the Street Food tour in Roma & Condessa area of Mexico City with Bikes & Munchies, and it was a definite highlight of our trip. We are 3 vegetarians and 1 pescetarian and the food was no issue at all. The food was *DELICIOUS* at every place we ate, and well curated with traditional foods, women-run businesses, and local experiences. We were a bit worried about getting sick with any fresh ingredients but our guides reassured us that it was all ok, and we were absolutely fine, even drinking fresh juices from the mercado (which were excellent!). Our guides were Elias and Velia, and they were EXCELLENT! Elias would stop cars and traffic for us, so we always felt safe, and Velia would be leading the way. I would highly recommend doing this, as we would have never have known about or tried these food spots otherwise.

Such a great way to see around the city. And a chance to experience some delicious street food. Our guide Sebastian was fantastic. So full of information and energy. Highly recommend. Tizia

My husband and I did this tour with 7 other guests and it was AMAZING. The other guests were a blast but the best was our tour guides, Zack, Camilla and Amistad. Zack was extremely knowledgeable about the food scene in CDMX and the history of the city. Camilla and Amistad made sure to keep everyone safe on the busy streets. Amistad in particular was so adept at curtailing the traffic and both of them looked out for everyone during the tour. Highly recommend going on a Sunday when some of the streets are closed off to car traffic for a portion of the day. Cannot recommend this tour and these tour guides enough. Great and yummy way to navigate the city.

We had an incredible time through the Downtown Historical tour we took with Bikes and Munchies! Our party had four adults, a five-year-old, a four-year-old, and an 18-month-old. We were very fortunate to have had Elias as our guide and Andrew as support. Both were very personable, thoughtful, caring, and passionate about what they do. Elias is trained as a historian and it immediately showed. His extensive knowledge of art, monuments, and buildings was wonderfully matched by his enthusiasm for the subject matter. It was clear that leading tours is far more than a job for Elias; he truly loves what he does. I honestly could have spent far more hours than our tour allowed listening to him speak about each piece of art and every location we visited because his joy was that infectious. Andrew was a true child whisperer. Along the bike ride, he pumped Disney tunes that garnered many smiles from the children in our group, and he knew just how to talk to and interact with the children so that they felt right at home in the experience. He helped all the adults feel comfortable on bikes; he followed the group and helped us stay together where needed, and also blocked any oncoming traffic until we had all gone by where necessary. He also dutifully guarded the bikes and any belongings we wanted to leave behind whenever we went indoors so that we did not need to worry about anything! The food and drinks vendors that Elias and Andrew led us to were all delicious, clean, and outstanding- a much more local taste of Mexico than we would have known to find ourselves. This was a truly excellent experience and one that we recommend wholeheartedly.

We booked this tour for our first day in Mexico City to get a feel for the place. So glad we did! Although it only focusses on a couple of districts, it was enough to open our eyes to how pleasant the city is - contrary to the stereotype we’d been brought up with - and gave us ideas on how to spend the rest of our time here (mostly involving Chapultepec Park, which we love!). The food stops were tasty and informative - we tried a couple of things we hadn’t had before - and our guide was friendly and took care of us on the roads. If you are looking for an in depth sight-seeing tour, this is not the one for you, but if you want to get a feel for the city, learn a bit of history, and eat some tasty snacks, it’s recommended.

This was the highlight of our trip! Isaac shared so much history and cultural information with us. We learned a lot about the neighborhoods and CDMX. I felt very safe on the bikes riding around the city. I am so glad we did this at the beginning of our trip because we were able to ride bikes the following days feeling confident as we navigated the city.

This was the best bike tour I’ve ever taken! It was a great balance of biking, eating, and history told through the murals. Isaac and Valentino were excellent guides and very enjoyable hosts! I would highly-highly recommend this experience!

Friendship, Sebastian and Sandy were absolutely fantastic. We recommend the tour 100% (we did the Countess and Rome tour that also passed through many other neighborhoods). Upon arrival at the meeting place we enjoyed a delicious coffee and also delicious tamales! And from there we ride super comfortable and well maintained bikes, with comfortable helmets to protect our brains:) I arrived at the beginning anxious to ride bikes in the city but the anxiety is seen was in seconds! The Friendship + Sebastian + Sandy team were phenomenal! They kept the group always protected in all ways, in a super coordinated way and with chevere music and excellent attitude and disposition (Friendship even warned if gaps or puddles were coming along the way!). We met a lot and ate many rich things too! I was more than satisfied with the quantity of food and the quality (including the quality of people who are the team). Thank you so much! Unforgettable and wonderful experience!

Hello. I don't know how to ride a bike, what options do you have? I would like to do the food tour. My husband knows how to ride a bike.

They have a tandem bike you could use. Either the guide or your husband could in the front and you could ride in the back. You don’t need to know how to ride to do this.

Gracias por tu interes en Bikes and Munchies. El recorrido dura 4.5 horas, son aproximadamente 13 km. Si tu mama esta acostumbrada a usar la bicicleta seguido no creo que haya ningun problema. Pero si no, probablemente pueda ser muy pesado. Sobre todo por que ahora la temperatura aumento en la Ciudad de Mexico. Saludos
