Great place for great souvenirs

Great selection of handicrafts from throughout Mexico. Lots to see and the prices are reasonable. We spent almost 3 hours and had a great lunch there as well.

Honestly, any cultural heritage is gone and this place is a tourist trap at best. Its great for photos and overall exploring through crowed stalls, but this is more Mexican crafts for the tourist trade and not at anything more.

Overwhelming, questionable quality, bazaar experience

Cultural experience but expected better. It was a fascinating time to wander between the many stalls selling everything from masks to embroidered quilts. However, the quality of the items was not as good as I had hoped for - mostly cheap trinkets. As for the items we liked (beaded sculptures) they were overpriced. Worth checking out if you have available time, but go for the cultural experience ! Great to buy cheaper souvenirs and cultural clothing.

Good for souvenir shopping

This is a large and very touristy artisans market, but a great place to shop if you need inexpensive souvenirs to bring home.

Super cute market. Lots of souvenirs and artisanal items. Many rows, which makes for a lovely experience strolling and shopping. We got some really cute and unique items

Bright colorful indoor Market with lots of interesting stalls

Really bright and colorful indoor souvenir market with lots of interesting stalls. Prices were pretty fair,
cheaper than some we had been to. There was a cute little bar/restaurant inside as well. Don’t bother with a tour. We caught an Uber from Condessa, was really cheap and just logged on to the public wifi to order our return.

Handicrafts market

This is an extensive market with a large range of handicrafts for sale – textiles, ceramics, stone, wood, copper and silver. We spent a good couple of hours wandering through and browsing at all the stalls. We were surprised to find that none of the merchants seemed particularly negotiable about prices!

Great cross-section of handmade treasures

We went on a Monday and it was empty. Many vendors have created similar items in ceramics, beaded jewelry, textiles, spirit animals, obsidian and masks. Walk around until you find a display you like. We saw a woman I g beaded bracelets so we bought from her since we knew she made the items (vs coming from China). Prices are very reasonable and there are great options for gifts.
