sincerely be disappointed, cancun is very cute, cancun is one of the best vacation centers in Mexico and having such an UGLY aquarium, is not fair. The only good thing for the price is the dolphin show (that's with the aquarium payment and show) nothing more, I honestly do not recommend it.

Variety of species of fish, live dolphins, rays, ajolots, turtles and sharks is what you will find
It's more to go with little ones and have fun, the entrance fee was $20, I think it's well paid but I wouldn't go again, it's like you go to meet and already.
It is inside a shopping center called The Island very nice place!!!
The music of the show is too loud so if you have a child who autism wear hearing aids as it could make him nervous that volume.

Wow! Just amazing!
My husband and I visited March 2025
It only costs about 16 USD each! Such a great experience for a budget! We watched the dolphins interact and put on little shows! Swimming and jumping in sync! My husband never been around dolphins and was completely amazed at their talent! We then ate at the restaurant on site overlooking the dolphin pools! Food was best chicken tacos we’ve had! And mango margaritas and coronas were fantastic and refreshing! Our server was great! Can’t remember his name… the whole experience is a must! If you can afford to swim with them at least go watch the shows! We seen them walking a large sea lion across the cat walk! So cool! And we views all aquariums, different fish! The fish with hands was awesome! Salamander thing can’t remember species name! The area outside aquarium is awesome too with lots of hassle free shopping and some high end shops! Gucci and crocs.

We paid for the premium package. I think it was $40 or so extra per person. Highly recommend this package. We had a single instructor and dolphin dedicated to just the two of us. Lots of interaction with our dolphin, Kiara (unsure of spelling), who made our experience. The cheaper packages seemed crowded, 10 or so people per dolphin. Our package also included the foot push with two dolphins and the underwater aquarium trek.
They definitely take advantage of upselling the prices of pictures for the unique experience as mentioned in other reviews. Really good picture quality. While it is good to support the facilities I think the prices for pictures were excessive. Other than that we had a great trip and staff were very polite.

Such a shame!!! we have left the aquarium absolutely gutted. We booked the premium dolphin experience and underwater trek, and enjoyed the activities provided. All that we needed was a photo of the experience to help us remember the trip, but my goodness…. $275 US for the photos is absurd. We didn’t end up buying the photos out of principle, and now we don’t have a single photo to remember a pretty rare experience. I have read the reviews and responses from the aquarium claiming the photos are a similar price to other experiences in the area, but come on guys, you’re ripping people off ruining what should be a great little experience.
This has changed our entire experience from great, to poor. People don’t mind paying a premium for tourist activities but they don’t react well to being ripped off.

We took the Ride package that included 30 minutes for our family shared with 6 others. In this time we were able to touch with splash and play with the dolphin. This is also included in the basic Splash package. In addition to this the Ride package also includes a ride with the dolphin. You hold on to the dorsal fin and she swims through the water. All of these activities are doable even if you don't know swimming as they provide life vests. However my husband and I gave our rides to our kids so they got to do an extra ride each.
The disappointment was that photography was not allowed. The only way you can capture your memories is by purchasing the photographs from the store after the experience. This cost $250 for 4 of us. The lack of transparency on this cost was very disappointing eventhough the organizers claim the cost is comparable to other such activities.
Another thing in hindsight there was no fact sharing that happened. You would expect that with kids they would share more details and fun facts

Complete rip off on pictures. While the experience is nice. They quote $250 - $294 for pictures. If you go with a family and since you can’t take your own pictures, they know they have got you. They will not discount it. So technically you 2-3 times the price of entry ticket.

Lovely aquarium in the shopping mall. Can walk round in an hour or so but has a good touching zone to touch the sting rays and star fish good viewing area for watching the dolphins with the opportunity it’s to swim with dolphins at an extra cost. Food is good in the restaurant.

It gets 4 because of the dolphins, otherwise it was a tad disappointing. It's a small aquarium. I was expecting it to be more like the Sealife Centre in UK, but it would be a very short experience if not for the dolphins element. The show with the dolphins, with the people swimming with them (people who pay extra) is pretty entertaining, and staff also brough out a walrus to walk behind us - we looked round and there it was at one point, so that was fun! We had lunch in the restaurant and went to carry on, to find that was basically it after that, only a few more tanks and it's the end. It's worth the money though, if you need something to fill an afternooon with. Families with kids will love it I'm sure. Animals seemed well looked after and happy as I can tell. Staff seemed friendly and caring.
