Amazing panoramic views

We made a quick stop here as part of our snorkeling tour and we loved this houselight. It is the oldest in town and located on the south east of the island. You can literally see the whole cost and the view is just spectacular.

Worth visiting. Especially if you see Julio a HUGE croc. 10ish feet? We also saw other crocs and lots of sea birds including migrating flamingos

Great view

When you climb the lighthouse you have a nice view of the lagoon and the ocean. There is a small museum there. There is shopping there. There is tequila tasting there. The day we were there there ware crocodiles present in the lagoon. Half way point form the park entrance to the beach. Nice to stop in the way in or the way out.

Stunning views from Cozumel

Wemade a quick stop during our jeep tour and this was the highlight of our tour. you have tohave good legs to climb and also the stairs are a little narrow but totally worth it at the end.

Si vous faites le tour de l'île, il faut s'y arrêter, même si 16USD par personne est plutôt cher payé.

Nous y étions par un jour de grand vent. La mer était démontée et offrait un spectacle saisissant tant depuis la plage que depuis le sommet du phare.

Le côté mangrove était plus tranquille et permettait d'observer divers échassiers et autres oiseaux d'eau ainsi que les crocodiles. Plusieurs iguanes étaient également visibles.

Muito bonito.

O Farol fica em um parque natural, Punta Sur, muito bonito e em especial nesta área em que ele está você a natureza em um estado mais selvagem, uma praia linda com ondas fortes, pedras e vegetação formando um conjunto muito bonito com o farol ao fundo. É um lugar muito bacana pra se conhecer em Cozumel.

Hermosas vistas / falta de control de la cantidad de gente que sube teniendo en cuenta qué hay solo una escalera para subir y ba

¡¡Hermosas vistas!! Luego de subir 139 escalones para llegar a la parte superior del faro, las vistas son hermosas y vale la pena el esfuerzo. Solo quiero advertirles que al llegar en la parte superior hay que pasar por una pequeña puerta de aproximadamente 1,30 metros de altura, por lo que tal vez a algunas personas se les dificulte al final del camino poder apreciar el lugar. Por otro lado, no hay control de la cantidad de gente que sube, por lo que se acumula mucha gente que sube y que baja en la misma escalera, que solo permite circular de a una persona ya que es muy estrecha. Debiera haber alguien controlando la cantidad de gente que sube como para dividir la fila y que todos puedan circular con normalidad.

Good Views-Interesting

Nice view from the old lighthouse. While it is still working there is not a lighthouse keeper. The park complex has an old observation tower that offers a nice view. On the day we were there they had a lot of flamingos and a croc.

You have to climb the lighthouse

The view is amazing and is not that difficult. Narrow stairs but lots of people going upstairs and downstairs so lots of fun. It's a must see in Punta Sur, and lots of other things to see in the museum at same spot. You drive further in the park and you'll find one of the best beaches in this part of Mexico
