Hele fijne duikschool! Gilberto de eigenaar heeft heel veel aandacht voor je en stelt je op het gemak als het nodig is. Alles wordt geregeld. Mooie duikplanken ook gezien. Absolute aanrader als je wilt duiken op mujeres!

Excellent communication before our trip. We were able to get a discount by combining our diving and our whale shark snorkel. For the whale shark snorkel they used ceviche tours boat which was good, but limited communication on the actual boat, the trip was lots of fun though one person was quite seasick on the boat the whole ride.

Another great trip through Carey! This time we went to see the whale sharks. What an incredible experience. The trip was well organized and the sightings were amazing! We will definitely do this again!

I booked our whale shark trip before leaving home and the Carey Dive people did their best to show us a wonderful time. I was warned that the trip to and from the whale shark area would be rough and wet and that was the case in spades! Approx. 25 miles each way in a small boat bouncing constantly over rough seas made everyone soaked with sea water the whole time. Fortunately we did see and snorkel with whale sharks, an awesome experience. I cancelled the scheduled second day due to the extremely rough trip and they substituted a trip to snorkel near the island that included an area of coral reef, a stop at the MUSA site and finally time on the Punta Sur (south) end of the island to snorkel with endangered green sea turtles. They were busy making baby turtles and we felt honored to be able to be with them. In fact, we booked a second morning of snorkeling with the turtles through Carey to get more pictures!

My husband and I had an incredible time on the discovery dive! We saw the MUSA (so many brightly colored and interesting looking fish, and some funky lobsters too!!) and then dove the reef at Punta Sur, where we saw many many sea turtles! Giliberto, Thomas, and Roberto made sure we were safe and had an amazing time. We are so thankful for this experience, and to this team for keeping us safe!

My wife likes to snorkel, I like to dive. We were looking for a trip to see a reef and the famous MUSU, Carey was our one-stop shop for both! Gilberto explained very clearly what we would do and see, when to meet, how long we would be gone, and when we would return. He even invited me to attend the refresher course before the trip which was a great idea, given that it had been almost 8 years since my last dive!
Carey sent us out with a snorkeling guide (Tomas) for my wife and a dive master (Rudolfo) for the divers. As I mentioned, it had been some time since my last dive, but he was very patient with me and my confidence quickly returned. Rudolfo even shared some of the videos and pictures from the trip he took from his GoPro the next day!
The entire Carey Dive Center team was professional and did everything to ensure a pleasant and memorable excursion. I would absolutely recommend CDC without hesitation!

Carey Dive Center was recommended by my hotel, and I did the Discover Scuba Dive. It was a great experience! Granted, I do not have any other dive shop experience to compare it to, but Gilberto and the guys were wonderful! When I went in on Friday to book for Saturday, Gilberto was patient in explaining different options and showed me that the weather would be best on the water on Sunday.
On Sunday, he explained and demonstrated how all the equipment worked, then we did a skill test in super shallow water. I was really grateful that his English was so good, since I don't speak much Spanish. It made understanding everything much easier, and made me feel safe and comfortable that I wasn't missing anything. He was patient with me when we descended, and helped me when I was having trouble equalizing my ears. He always stayed nearby, and I felt like he was keeping me safe the whole time.
He took us through the statues at MUSA, which were so cool! Then we went to a spot at Punta Sur where there are giant sea turtles. What an incredible experience! They were swimming all around us, and so close. We also saw several other types of fish at both dive sites. But the highlight of everything were the dolphins! I couldn't even believe it, but wild dolphins came swimming by us (more than once). What a joy! I will not forget that <3

Gilberto & the team are an excellent choice.
We went on a whale shark snorkeling tour (very professional and respecting all the regulations in place, saw and swam with Manta rays and whale shark) and diving with them (we even saw dolphins playing).
The boat and equipment were great, everybody professional, friendly and fun.
Communication via WhatsApp very timely and easy. They even took pictures and shared with us later.
From what I observed with other customers also an excellent choice to try diving or to refresh your skills, very thorough briefing.
Overall: I highly recommend them.
If you are hesitating: stop & book your dive with them :)

Gilberto was quick to respond to my booking questions. We were staying at the Zoetry resort and they even picked us up at the hotel dock. Very professional & safe. For our 2nd dive he asked if we wanted to make a change to the location & dive near Punta Sur because they had seen giant turtles there. We saw a ton of them! It was a very cool experience. Can’t wait to return to swim with whale sharks & would use Gilberto again for the next trip.

J'ai réalisé 4 plongées magiques.
Gilberto et Rodolfo sont très à l'écoute.
Les fonds sont superbes et les tarifs plus que raisonnables.
Je recommande vivement ce club de plongée.

Do you pickup divers from any hotels? If so, which ones?

Hello, We prefer that divers commence their dive trips at our dive shop. But in special circumstances we can pick people up with our boat. If the hotel or private house has a dock that allows private boats to pick up their guests. All hotels and private houses have their own policies so it's best to check with them directly. We don't pick up clients in a motor vehicle.
