Una tienda muy cerca de centro histórico en donde encontrarán una gran variedad de artesanías elaborados por el pueblo yucateco a precio muy justo (no lo encontrarán mas barato que en este lugar) desde unos aretes hasta guayaberas, huipil, blusas bordadas y muchas cosas mas

This is the state-run handicraft store for Yucatan. Displays are nice, but not glitzy. Lots of well-priced souvenirs to take home. There is a cabinet in the center of the room with lovely silver items - the traditional styles may not be for everyone, but price is excellent.

This is a great souvenir shop. Local made and the dollars go back to the artist. Pottery, baskets, clothing, bags, dishes, small trinkets. Best prices on nice hammocks. Shop here before you go elsewhere. Prices are excellent and support the people of the community.

The proper address is Calle 63 X 64 y 66 Centro. Great prices and array of crafts which support the local and national crafters. PLEASE do not bargain in stores in Mexico and much less with the indigenous people of the state of Chiapas walking on the streets selling beautiful enbroidery bags and blouses, belts, etc. Your 100 - 200 pesos will feed their families for a while, while for you it is worth half of a meal.... It is pathetic to see tourists bargaining to these poor people. Pay that and more and RESPECT the crafters.

Es un lugar repleto de puestos en donde podrás ver, admirar, conocer y comprar una y mil bellezas de las artesanías yucatecas como blusas, vestidos, guayaberas, zapatos, joyeria, juguetes y articulos varios como para decorar o regalar un lindo detalle. Los precios son accesibles y las personas que atienden son sumamente amables.

Es una tienda ubicada a un costado de la iglesia de Monjas a una cuadra del centro histórico, en el interior de la casa de la cultura del estado, aquí puedes encontrar un sin fin de artículos elaborados por manos artesanas yucatecas a un precio justo, lejos de los enganchadores y tiendas de artesanías que te venden muy caro, segun entiendo las ventas de este lugar van directo a los artesanos que elaboran los productos, puedes encontrar desde un sombrero hasta bellas piezas de barro o madera pasando por los tradicionales dioses mayas o abanicos, cestos de raíces y las tradicionales guayaberas y blusas bordadas o hipiles.

This is a small shop containing many indigenous hand-crafted items. I like to support local enterprise while I travel, and get something actually made in that particular country at the same time. This shop has a variety of goods, from not expensive on up. I liked the handmade bags the best, but the jewelry was lovely as well.

I believe the other reviews are for a delightful small shop across from the Parque Santa Lucia, the shop is called Artesania. It has very good quality artisan items of many types. But the listing and address are for a different place on Calle 63 between 64 and 66. That place is not worth visiting- it has the same low quality items you'll find all over, questionable if they're really from Yucatan.

Believe address is incorrect. There is one shop near Santa Lucia and the web link lists Paseo Monteo, neither near address listed
