My favorite tour so far
We went in a very comfortable bus that had usb charging spot in every row of seats.
Our guide was great very informative and nice.
I ordered the chicken chilaquiles and ohm they were delicious.
The cenote was beautiful. The beach club was nice (great place to relax).
On our way back there was a protest in the street so we waited on the bus for 3 extra hours which made us get home around 12am. But hey not fault to the tour guide or driver

I had the most perfect day. The guide was Angel. He is extremely knowledgeable of the history in the area. Also extremely conscious of “ teniendo cuidado ” of the people on his tour. If you book an aquatic tour, you have to keep in mind that you have to cross open waters which can be choppy. (It was the most fun for me). Look at life as an adventure with an open mind and without expectations. You will find gratitude to be most enjoyable in the moment that is now. Muchas gracias Angel. Me ke Aloha pumehana.

Gennaro was our tour guide and he was so hilarious, knowledgeable and entertaining.
He had an ice chest which he had water and granola bars for us. He also let us put any water, juice and beers in the ice chest which was amazing.
We traveled in a van which made it faster and a small group.
Once we had free time to explore the island we rented a golf cart which I wouldn’t recommend if the island has is or was flooded. There were many areas full of puddle some big some small. So we had to go very slow and we’re told we could only go a certain area.
The food was nothing extraordinary but was ok. The boat ride back was a little bumpy but they got us back to land before the rain storm.
The tour included bike rental but due to the island being kinda flooded we weren’t given the bikes.

General: Buena la organización, buen costo beneficio. Servicio: buena atención y puntualidad,:Bebidas: incluidas. Comida: menú básico pero bueno. Puntos de interés: Lugares hermosos. Sugerencias: En la etapa final en la isla usar las bicicletas (incluidas) para no caminar tanto. Moderar velocidad de la lancha sobre todo en el regreso para no saltar y golpearse los brazos y espalda. Le doy un 9 de calificación.

On nous a donné rdv devant notre hôtel à 6h35. Un mini van nous récupère a l'heure et nous faisons le tour des hôtels pour finalement retrouver le bus a 7h10 a 40m de notre hôtel.. mauvaise organisation, on aurait préféré rejoindre le bus directement à 7h10, perte de temps.
On arrive a notre première destination a 11h. (4h25 de route!!! On s'attendait à 3h) cenote joli mais sans plus puis restaurant pour le petit déjeuner (autant dire qu'on avait faim depuis un moment) longue attente, on a mangé froid et c'était vraiment pas bon.
On part ensuite à bacalar pour baignade, c'était sympa. Puis direction le bateau (clairement le plus joli et dépaysant) je conseille vraiment Bacalar mais sans passer par cette excursion. Puis 17h restaurant qui lui était très bon.
Nous avions choisi un guide anglais. Nous avons eu un guide qui parlait 90% du temps en espagnol puis de temps en temps traduisait une ou deux phrases en anglais.. nous avons forcement loupé des informations.
Les seules phrases qui ont été traduites systématiquement étaient pour nous quémander des pourboires...
Selon moi, il ne s'agit pas dun guide mais d'un accompagnant. Nous n'avons rien appris, avons trouvé le temps long et aucun effort ne fut fournis.
Une petite bouteille d'eau est fournie seulement dans le bateau donc pas avant 15h, emmenez la votre (et a manger!!)
Bref, je ne recommande pas. Passer votre chemin

Cette excursion fut un désastre.
Tout d’abord le descriptif vous promet une journée en petit comité de 12. Il n’en est rien. Certes la camionnette qui vient vous chercher est de 12 places mais une fois que vous avez fait le tour des 5/6 hôtels pour aller chercher d’autres touristes ici et là (déjà 40min de perdu), ils vous mettent dans un bus avec une 50taine d’autres personnes. Un bus étriquée où une personne de taille moyenne comme moi (1m68) n’a pas assez de place pour mettre ses jambes..
Soit, après 4h de route, 1er stop dans un café autour d’une cenote, qui n’a rien d’extraordinaire, pour en avoir fait d’autres dans la région. Ce café où l’on vous annonce à la fin du service que les boissons ne sont pas comprises. Oups! trop tard, vous avez déjà consommé pensant qu’il s’agissait de boissons comprises dans l’excursion. 130€ tout de même.. d’ailleurs n’oubliez pas de prendre de l’eau avec vous puisqu’aucune boisson, même de l’eau, ne vous sera donnée.. je n’avais jamais vu cela auparavant.
Soit, on vous emmène ensuite dans un beach club avec une petite plage pendant 1h. Le cadre est sympa..
Après cela, on vous emmène ENFIN au lagunes des 7 couleurs tant attendu. Il est déjà 14h. On vous presse d’aller sur un bateau avec un guide, qui ne parle pas un seul mot d’anglais.. dommage. Le cadre est cependant idyllique. Malheureusement, le plaisir est de courte durée puisqu’après une balade en bateau de 20min, nous disposons uniquement de 15 min à l’eau. Dommage.
A 16h, heure du déjeuné.. encore une fois, les boissons ne sont pas comprises. Le service au restaurant est le minimum, la musique est beaucoup trop forte et les plats passables et en très petite quantité.
17h, heure du départ, de nouveau 4h de bus interminables pour ceux qui logent à PLAYA del carmen..
Journée catastrophique. A fuir !!

The trip was fabulous it's how my husband and I spent our 15th anniversary. Holbox is a beautiful laid back little island full of friendly people. Yes, there was sargassum. Yes, the prices are a little higher, but it is an island. Punta Mosquito and Pasion Island are both breathtaking, and relaxing. There was warm, Caribbean water that's deep enough to swim in, or shallow enough to lay in, whatever your preference. The best part was the tour. Angel was knowledgeable, engaging and funny. He has a warm friendly personality and truly loves his culture and people, giving lots of information along the way. The boat captain got us to and from safely. I even lost my hat in the lagoon, and he turned around to get it for me. I would 100% do this tour with Angel again. He gave us free time at each stop, great recommendations for food, treats and shopping. He even tried to stop to allow us to try some local fruit, but allowed those on the shuttle to sleep. Great tour!
