Xsenses is a unique park - as you can imagine. When visiting, bring your swimming costume, swim shoes and a water bottle to refill your water and start with the wet activities first (leave all your valuables and phone in your locker for this part). If you can't swim, I suggest skipping the water slide. Everything else is fine for non-swimmers. Also the zip line is fun and not scary at all, so give it a go!
After the wet actitivies, change and grab a bite to eat before doing the dry activities and taking pictures. Don't forget to visit the pitch black tunnels. It lasts about 20 minutes and you can pick up a refreshing cup of lemonade at the end. If you are afraid of the dark, might be best to skip this.
I'm not going to share much about the park itself because it's better to be surprised by the experience. Something to note is whilst there isn't a buffet, the food that you can order (hot dogs, burgers etc) is very good quality. It tastes REALLY good! Gourmet style. Delicious.
My tips: If you're worried about the mud river, don't worry, your hair won't get mud in it. If helpful, we wore swimming caps. Also at the end of the mud river, you'll be blasted with water so that's good. Again, don't bring your phone to the wet activities.
The park overall isn't as big or plentiful as Xcaret, but you'll have a pleasant day trip and be done by about 3pm. Xsenses is great for people of all ages. The town section might disorientate you, so please take your time walking through to prevent feeling dizzy. If you are visiting Mexico for the first time, I advise you to book Xsenses alongside another Xcaret park (pay for 2 parks) so you can have the most amazing experience. Xsenses alone is good but might not be AS fulfilling. Xcaret is a great choice to start and get a taste of what the Xcaret Group has to offer.

We went to this park because it looked like an unusual place to get unique, mind-bending photographs. We purchased the photo packge in advance. When we got to the park, the photo viewing machines were not working, but the park attendants assured us that the cameras were working and that we would be able to get the photographs we wanted and had paid for. We took a lot of photographs. The park was so-so. There was a sensory walk through a dark, cave-like area. That experience was bizarre and a waste of time. They had a water slide, which was great; and the ride that soared through the air was fun. They had a "river" to float down, which was too shallow to allow us to float, so we ended up having to push off the floor to get ourselves down the river. That was followed by a muddy river that had the same problem as the first river (it was too shallow). Probably the highlight of the park was the town, which was basically a street. As you walked downhill the street appeared to be going uphill (very bizarre sensory experience, but interesting).
We received a code from the park to retrieve our photographs, which were were told would be available after 24 hours and that we would have access to them for 30 days. After 24 hours the photos were not yet available. After 48 hours, same story. After a week, same story. After two weeks, same story. When we would try to retrieve the photos we would just get a message saying that they were working on getting our photos. A couple of days after two weeks we tried to log in again and were told that our code was invalid (although it had been valid for the two weeks before then). We tried to call them repeatedly throughout the weeks, but were only able to get a busy signal. In the end, we did not get our photos. If you go to this park, do not purchase the photo package (which is one of the main reasons for going). So, my advice is to just skip this park, as it is overpriced and does not provide what it promises; and you run the risk of being cheated on the photo package.

de los mejores parques del grupo xcaret, en esta ocasion realice xenxes noche una nueva actividad que se realzia por la noche en el parque la cual actualmetne es solo para clientes de los hoteles, ya habia visitado el parque de dia sin embargo de noche es una experiencia , al ser un parque para tomar muchas foografias estas son muy divertidas cola perspectiva que dan las luces, definitivametne de repetir buscaria hospedarme en los hoteles para hacerlo de noche.

The park is AMAZING. So much to experience with all senses! My fav was the 5 senses tunnel that was pitch black and you were required to use all other senses to truly dig into yourself and enjoy the experience!
The upside down town was really mind blowing.... still cant quite work it out. streams running the wrong way, the clouds been lower than the building. WEIRD!!!!!!

This was an amazing experience! We have done Xcaret park before and loved it, so we wanted to try another one! This was such a fun time. Great for a family or couples! They have great photo opportunities and experiences to challenge your senses. Hence the name! Definitely would go again!

Mi niña es del espectro autista funcional. Ella cumple 5 años en 2 meses (hoy agosto 2023).
Estabamos muy emocionados por llevarla a una experiencia sensorial.
Compramos en linea con días de anticipación. En las paginas mencionan que recomendaban observar las restricciones de las actividades
No nos fue grato ver que, mas de la mitad del parque esta prohibido, aun con las consideraciones de los padres.
Me queda claro que las actividades físicas es por protección a los menores (estoy consciente del evento), pero en definitiva me lleve una gran decepción no poder darle la actividad sensorial a mi niña por terminos legales
Sugerencia para Xenses: explicar claramente en la aplicación y en el portal que actividades no pueden tomas menores o con capacidades diferentes
Sugerencia para usuarios: si se encuentran en alguno de los 2 grupos, no vale la pena el boleto. Para la población en general, si parece ser bueno

Optical illusion town is a must do, we did it twice!! the park is small but the concept is amazing very detailed. The mud bath is a hit and miss you either like it or you don't. Either way it is something new to try! Make sure to get some lemonade at the end.
The xensatorium tour is pitch black and takes about 10 minutes but the scenic walk at the end makes it worth it.

Is there a different way down than the water slide?

We'd like to share that the water slide route is completely optional and in case you don't want to do the activity, you can take the alternative route, which is next to the water slide. For more information, you can ask directly with our staff at the park or contact our Call Center.

Le comentamos que, en efecto, es necesario atravesar la atracción "El Pueblo" para poder llegar a la actividad del Riolajante o el Lodorama. No obstante, es importante tomar en consideración que algunas otras actividades no son recomendadas para personas con problemas cardíacos, miedo a las alturas, claustrofobia o que se mareen fácilmente.

We purchased the photo pass for BOTH me and my husband and were both given bands and were told we could get all photos we both took after 24 hours but only my photos have come through using the code they gave, my husbands are nowhere to be found.
I’ve emailed the email on the receipt for issues and tried Facebook messenger (both multiple times) and nobody is replying.
I am frustrated as we were told we would get all of the photos BOTH of us took but have not. I don’t know what to do and am not getting any answers.
I am really hoping someone can help me retrieve my husbands photos and get them to us otherwise we’ve lost out on a bunch of great photos. Can someone help???

Are there restrictions on water shoes? I’m planning to wear waterproof strap sandals (like Chacos or Tevas). Will I be able to wear them for all activities?

They have signs that say no sandals and water shoes only. Not sure how much that is enforced. I don't recall seeing anyone in sandals.
My 6 year old would love to visit, is it possible to attend with our baby (7 months) and take turn which parent goes with out eldest?

Hi there I've been to Xenses a couple of times and absolutely love this park however, I've not managed to complete the Xensatorium due to claustrophobia. Is there any way the Xensatorium can be skipped just like you can on the wet side of the park?
