My only stop for Yoga when I am in town!. The BEST place to practice. Liquid Prana around the corner is perfectly positioned for my after class nutrition.

I registered for a Yoga teaching training class on july 7 2022 on Yogaloft and on the next day I tried to talk with the owner Michael Gannon, about the overcharged his pupil Raul Vizuett did on my credit card and he sent me to him to take care of my problem. But, are being 3 months and I am still waiting for the refund. I don't understand why they lied to my credit card telling them that they arranged with me a credit, when they know that is a lied. Now, I don't understand how the owner identifies himself as a Jogi because what I see is two scammers. I feel sorry for those who are going there but the good thing that places don't make people, otherwise Playa del Carmen could have a lot of scammers doing and thinking like Michael Gannon and Raul Vizzuett. Michael Gannon you guru never told you not to charge for a service you haven't done you are dishonest person and mezquinó.

Yogaloft is much more than a yoga studio, it's family!! I was alone in Playa del Carmen, and there, I found a home!! I made so many good friends, shared so many experiences and learnt so much! Michael is a very conscious and demanding teacher. He gets to know well each of his students and he always pushes you to get the best of you through yoga. His classes are fun, as well as very powerful and dynamic. Helen classes are evolutive and bring you from level zero to level up! She is very funny and constantly makes you laugh as you pass from one asana to the other. Diana rocket classes are a meditative dance that will put you in touch with your inner core. I feel so blessed and grateful to have had the opportunity to practice in Yogaloft for almost a year; as well as to have shared such wonderful experiences and moments!! I’m truly grateful to have discover this yoga studio in Playa.
Power vinyasa classes with Michael Gannon are incredible. It mixes breathwork, yoga, cardio and workout and really allows you to build strength and flexibility!
Ashtanga class with Michael Luginbühl are amazing too. You will practice the true and entire primary serie which is really rare and hard to find!
In general, I like the simplicity of the class and the teachers in this studio.
Really amazing classes for really good prices! Highly recommend!

The Yogaloft was an unexpected highlight of our trip to playa del carmen, we had the month pass and got full use out of it, great deal for your dollar. It’s a beautiful studio with plenty of space, lockers, showers, and place to leave your mat. You’ll always leave sweating and feeling ready for the day, we were beginners and felt comfortable and very challenged. Super fun how Gannons classes have music with great playlists!

Studio is nice location, very beautiful, authentic, organized, equipped(even key locke and shower!), and clean surrounded nice community people.
Stuff is helpful and friendly even visitor.
Shop is open energy, great selected items.
And best part is awesome experienced teacher, Micheal!
Joined 2nd series class.
About +60 people were in the class.
Michael’s instruction was so accurate for all/each level people!!
There are many steps for beginners, and tips for experienced students!
Not only verbal instruction, but also many hands on adjustments for individually.
Michael made us super sweat, challenges, tortured, and lots of laugh!!
It was great to feel the dynamic energy which everyone created together.
Michael remind me practice is how powerful and fun!! Really appreciated!
After the class, went to “Liquid Prana” It is amazing selection of beautiful food with love and charging me up. Recommended!
Yoga loft is one of my best yoga studio in the world!!!
I am planning come back to Mexico just for practice at Yogaloft.

It's been great to experience classes that are different of my usual practice. The classes are challenging, well structured, and there is no way you won't sweat. It's definitely a crowded and popular studio, while still being charming and warm. I have tried the "Gannon Power Vinyasa" by Michael Gannon, "Vinyasa" by Ellen De Jonge, and "Guided Ashtanga" Michael Luginbühl . I recommend them all.

Beautiful and clean studio with welcoming energy from the front desk and the teachers. Yoga Loft offers a variety of classes with various degrees of difficulty. Michael’s power vinyasa classes are fantastic and challenging. Any yogi whether they are a teacher, seasoned practitioner, or new to yoga will leave feeling accomplished and grounded with an open heart after any class at Yoga Loft. Be sure to stop by Liquid Prana next door for a fresh juice or snack after practice 🕉

Fantastic place to have a challenging workout. I'm really enjoying practicing yoga in this open and welcoming space. Every class is great and Michael & Ellen are incredible teachers. Love the peace I feel everyday at the end of the class. It's exhilarating. Special thanks to my beautiful girlfriend who took me here.

Hi Gretchen,
Yogaloft has Power Vinyasa, Vinyasa, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Acro Yoga and Yoga Basics.
So, while we do not have actual Hot Yoga, the stronger classes are quite "Hot" and sweaty. And, in the warm season, because of our natural heat and humidity, most visitors say they sweat just as much at Yogaloft as they do in their hot yoga studio classes ;)

We LUV when people come from the big city, chilly Mid-West to practice and sweat with us in paradise :)
And yes, we do rent mats at Yogaloft. As well as hand towels and nice fluffy white towels for our hot, rainforest showers! So leave your mat at home.
You can always find the specific schedule for any date on the Yogaloft website. Just click on 'schedule' then chose whatever month and specific date in the calendar you are interested in.
A single drop-in class costs 150 MXN (currently only about US$10). You can get an 8-class card for only 790 MXN (US$53) or a month of daily classes for only 990 MXN (US$66).
You can find details for these on the website as well.
