Best bar in Tulum!
Located in the local center cute Spartan, friendly and prepared staff. Everything good from cocktails to food, we tried everything and it is without doubt the best in Tulum! Best value for money compared to all other bars/restaurants in the area. I recommend the burrito with shrimp, all the spectacular mojitos and even the breakfasts are worth it! Very good

I've been visiting Tulum for eight years now, and I found the Batey Bar the first time I visited and I've been going back every year; ever since. What a fantastic place!
Always good music most of the day and night by a wide variety of artists and locals. The food at the Batey bar is excellent and really some of my favorite food when I visit Tulum. I visit twice a year.
The service is always with a smile, and you can eat outdoors or indoors or WAY indoors closer to the music.
One thing is for sure they want to make you happy and they do. I've probably been over 50 times or more and it's always a magical place for me. The manager, the young woman is exceptional at making sure every table is taken care of as soon as the people walk in and treated well and served well.
I love the Batey Bar and I think you will too :)

On an extended stay in Tulum this little gem of a bar became our “local”. The food is great, the staff are friendly, there is live music a couple of times a week and the drinks are fantastic.
They do freshly squeezed sugarcane juice Guarapos and Mojitos, plus margaritas and a range of tequila and mescal. Breakfast and coffee run til 2pm.
Just a great place to relax and watch the world go by.

The place is central and they sell good burritos, but nothing else and also only accept cash (at least when I went).

Very chilled authentic feeling bar that juices (not sure that the right word) its own sugar cane in an old VW. Live music wasn't in your face and the small food menu awesome and very reasonable priced

This was one of the best meals we had on our trip. The drinks/juice, just so good. We all had a different one.
The servers did pretty well in English for us and the service was great. One of the better stops we had in terms of speed. But it also wasn’t busy.
Live music in the evenings.
It all felt very fresh and from scratch. Go!!!

lo puedes dejar cerca pero no al frente por que la calle esta cerrada para carros y motos, solo es de peatones, pero no te preocupes aya no pasa nada

We love this place also and have visited during the day since we are in Puerto Aventuras each year. When does the music start and do they post who is playing? We want to go there in the evening but need timing. Thanks

The music starts around 9pm I think but they also have some live music (more chilled) for dinner. Check out their fb page I think they have info as to who is playing on it

Givensunday, post your thoughts about the Rooster here if you have further information with regard to the "lies" you think other's are stating. I know what I saw, so I hope you are not accusing me of lying, it is smoky in the courtyard area, that's the truth.
