It was a rainy morning when we arrived but a very friendly reception by Michela made the sun shine a bit again. Michela first of all told a few things about the vineyard and the company and answered our questions in excellent English. This was followed by a short tour of the clear company. Then we got to taste the six red wines. We had one of the wines during a lunch in Piedmont. After the tasting we decided to buy a few of all the wines tasted for home. Recommended to visit this beautiful family business both for the quality of the wines and the pleasant welcome!

Stumbled into this young family winery without an appointment, and got to taste their Barbaresco Duesoli and Faset 2017 and 2018. They have made a truly great 2017 from a very warm year in Barbaresco. The cooler 2018 is also a great pick with wonderful complexity that could store in your cellar for a long time. Martina, the passionate young woman who runs the winery with her father took the time to show and tell on our drop-in visit. A surpise highlight on our trip to Barbaresco. Worth a visit.

Such a lovely small family winery in the heart of Barbaresco! We were served the Barbaresco Duesoli 2017 at restaurant Campamac in Barbaresco, loved the taste of the wine and decided to visit the winery. The owner, a young woman in the third generation, took us on a personal, informative and very tasteful tour in the winery. The wines are truly unique and a visit to Piercarlo Culasso is a must if you are visiting the Barbaresco area.
