I would definitely recommend this varied walk through different varieties of vegetation with views that are spectacular at the end . There are also some good views along the way of the coastline (see my picture). It is not a difficult walk - we did it in 1 hour return. you would want to pick a clear day as the views will not be rewarding on a day with low clouds or drizzle.

Just drove to Camden Heads to see what was there. A little sign showed Kattang and some walks. Went to Pebbly beach path. And wow, the flowers were out, spent half an hour taking photos. Well worth the trip.

We randomly decided to go and visit the Kattang Nature Reserve on our way home from Port. Best decision!
Being September the wild flowers were out at there best. So many varieties and colours and perfumes. Just loved the Flannel flowers.
Bird life was also amazing from eagles soaring over the cliffs to whip birds in the rainforest section and lots of honey eaters and finches.
The views from the various lookouts are stunning. We managed to make it to all, about 9 km of good track.
Really liked Charles Haney lookout which is the highest point and overlooks Laurieton. Also really happy to get out to the end of Point Perpendicular where you get 360 degree views.
Definitely recommend this walk especially in Spring.

We've visited this area several times and had no IDEA there was something this amazing just on our doorstep!
I saw the paths on Google maps and thought it was worth checking out since we had a couple of days when it was definitely too cold to swim (note the photos are a little hazy cos of nearby bushfires).
This is a series of walks as there are several headlands. All can be accessed from the Perpendicular Point Carpark (quite limited parking but not much traffic on a week day - couldn't vouch for weekends) which is cnr of Camden Head Rd and Bergalia Cres, (I think I saw some toilets here, back from the road towards the north and there are a couple of picnic tables).
In my opinion, the Perpendicular Point walk isn't worth the final relatively steep assent to the final lookout (unless it's whale season and that's your thing) but the views along the way to this make the rest of this walk well worth it. (Please note that you leave the main path at your own risk - there are a lot of vertical drops along this route AND a lot of scree [loose gravel-like stones] going down to some of the cliffs - we DID chance it in some spots as we thought it was worth the views but we were EXTREMELY careful and I CERTAINLY would advise completely against this if you were on your own - no one to go for help in that case, although your chances of surviving such a fall are limited at best anyway).
You can access the other walks this way too but it's shorter if you use the Charles Hanley Lookout Rd, although, this IS a dirt road (which could be an issue for some people). Views are great from this walk too! But please note, if you're tall, that I'm very average in height and was doing a lot of ducking and weaving around and under low branches (yes, over the main path; it's like a native obstacle course).
We didn't get to the Floral Bowl Circuit (it was getting late and we were bushed) but I'd like to go back and do that another time - definitely in the spring - the wildflowers we saw on the walks we did do were beautiful (not what I've come to expect from the Aussie bush)
