There is no contact valid number to obtain details. One must go there to obtain details....There is no way to communicate with anyone as the website is also worthless for information to be obtained...sad..

Grab your kayak and head for adventure. The bird sanctuary iland, seals, dolphins, fishing. Everything can be found here. The water are warm so dont be afriad to jump in. The dolphins swim up to greet you if you find a pod of them. They run two to three times a day here. And the food!, hit the fish market and have some of the best clams, shrimp, oysters and fish ever!!

It's been several years since we were last there. They've changed the Lukeville/Sonoyta border crossing so you need to be very careful and follow the signs to Puerto Penasco- we were halfway to Caborca before we realized it and had to turn around. Once there we had a great time. hasn't changed much in the intervening years. They are building a seawall at the far end of Sandy Beach ostensibly for cruise boats? The old port was busy altho not as crwded as we had anticipated. Came back with fresh shrimp and fish-a cherished commodity here in Tucson. The trip home was a little tenuous as we had to cross over a dozen running washes. our 5 hour trip turned out to be closer to 10. Watch the weather.

The owner's of Kayak Rocky Point (Tammy & Roland) are super nice and very helpful in coordinating Kayak tours. For our rental we had them bring the Kayaks right to our resort. Their staff brought them down to the water where they instructed us on their use and then they let us go. The Kayak we had were a single kayak and a two seater kayak. Both kayaks could be moved under pedal power or with using the paddles (ores). We quickly found that the pedal power would move those kayaks over the water very fast. The two seater kayak was running circles around the single seat kayak. We found ourselves about a mile off shore looking back at Sandy beach. It was very peaceful and calm. We got to see some fishes jumping out of the water near our kayak's and also saw some eels. No Dolphins sitings on this trip but we'll definitely rent Kayak's from Kayak Rocky Point again. A good time was had by all.

My husband and I did an estuary tour in pedal kayaks. We've kayaked some before, but never the pedal kind. I guess we've been missing out! The pedal kayaks are easy - a little like a stair machine in motion, but much more enjoyable :)
We took a three-hour estuary tour. The time is dependent on the tides, so we were out mid-day. There were plenty of birds around the marshes, and it's just a pleasure to be able to look around and point things out rather than focusing on paddling. We had a light lunch of bean and cheese burrito as the tide changed, after heading into the estuary for an hour and a half. We then came back with the outgoing tide. Since the tour launched from the women's cooperative oyster farm, after finishing the tour we stayed and relaxed with a plate of fresh oysters and a couple of cold beers!

This is the second time we rented kayaks from Kayak Rocky Point and once again it was a terrific experience. Roland and Tammy personally delivered the kayaks to our duplex and gave us a brief overview of how to use them. We then had the kayaks for 4 days and took them to the beach as we wanted and cruised around to JJ's and around the Bay.
If you are going to Rocky Point and especially Cholla Bay be sure to rent a Kayak from Kayak Rocky Point and you wont be disappointed.

I went on the estuary tour in a pedal/oar kayak.
It was easier than I thought it would be.
I enjoyed it so much that I plan on taking the other tours!
I will take pictures next time and share them.

My husband and I went kayaking with our 2 kids (ages 9 & 3), and we had a blast kayaking! It was our anniversary, and we wanted to do something different, yet special.
The kayaks are a peddal type, which I thought would be really hard on my legs, but it was actually easier than riding a bicycle. No pain the next day.
When we were on the way out of the Marina, there were dolphins about 50 yards in front of us playing in the surf. Too cool!! It was just about sunset, and Tammy (our guide) brought out little cups for a champagne toast. Wow, talk about service!
In my opinion, it sould be on everyone's "to do" list while in Rocky Point. It's an activity for every age group, and just too much fun.
