This place is fantastic to all music lovers Young and old past and present check this place out.You will find a night that tickles your fancy maybe try a different night you never know you may like it.

Our first visit was last thursday 21/5/15 to see the amazing Faerground Accidents...it was a lovely venue, polite and great service from the staff, we will definitely be back....thank you....

Nice staff and nice selection of beers.
However, as a music bar very disappointing. Music far too quiet and my wife and I were told to be quiet by a woman.(apparently the owner)
A real shame as I had heard good things about the lounge.

Thanks for your review. We're glad you found the range of beers good. However, we're surprised that you say it needs to be louder! Our venue has been fully sound-proofed specifically because the music is often loud.
You don't say what date you came. There are some nights when we have quieter acts - these are clearly billed as acoustic nights and, as a music venue first and foremost, we do ask people to keep the volume down if it is disturbing other customers who have come to listen and out of respect for the band.
We cater for all types of music and, in a normal week, you can expect the following:
Tuesdays: Electric Open Mic - loud
Wednesdays: Ticket events
Thursdays: Acoustic acts
Fridays: Rock bands - loud
Saturdays: Acoustic duos and bands
Sundays: Open Mic and Quiz - more chilled than Tuesdays
We'd love you to give us another try, so please come back any Friday night when it's always loud!

It's a pleasure to frequent this professionally run, but friendly live music venue. The atmosphere & more importantly the sound are truly superb, the drinks fairly priced and you are always made to feel welcome. This is a testament to the management, backed up by the large numbers of returning clientele. We will be back soon!!! p.s. The 'houseband'are something special too!
