我和我老婆继续我们的路易斯湖探险之旅，登上了山顶。中心的工作人员都非常友好，我们买了票继续走，因为那里不是特别忙，但当我们坐着满载的旅游巴士下来时，就变得很忙了。山顶的景色和走到最初的起点，一路的景色都很棒，令人难忘。天气在几分钟里由晴变学，也增加了几分乐趣。我会推荐这趟旅途，去看山顶的景色，要早点去，可以避开那些旅游巴士。

我的妻子和小儿子上了缆车，而我就待在小木屋旁晒太阳。来这里可以打发好几个小时的时间。他们喜欢上升，喜欢风景和熊。作为一个性格像“鸡”的人，我便待在山下，就放松地欣赏着优美的曲子。真的感觉很不错。而且每年的这个时候并不会有很多游客，这让我松了一口气！！

甚至对于像我这样的初学者/中级水平的人来说，是不错的滑雪。许多小路和适合春季滑雪的较短的升降线。我们周六来的，但是感觉像是工作日一样，因为不是很拥挤。

这个滑雪场的员工都特别好。小径很长很深，从柔和的绿林穿过可以避开岩石，山上的食物也都很好吃，尤其我们在旅店吃的猪肉三明治特别棒。大多数时间都是短线路途，从the back bowl看到的景色超级壮观。另外，旅馆的停车场价格很实惠。

这是女儿们第一次去路易斯湖滑雪，对我来说则是多年后的再次来访，我们玩得很开心!这里有各种不同类别的地形，我们看了天气情况安排了活动，所以玩的很开心。我记得那里的景色非常壮观，背面是滑雪的好地方。我们肯定会回来的!

我的一生都在北美各地滑雪，露易丝湖滑雪场是我们滑雪过的山中最具侵略性的，滑雪板很容易失控!一个人确实以非常快的速度撞上了我，他是从山上几乎没有人的地方飞出来的!撞击使我喘不过气来，需要用雪橇把我拖下去接受急救。我身高5英尺9英寸，如果我再矮几英寸，很可能就会瘫痪。滑雪是一项有风险的运动，然而露易丝湖滑雪场需要更加努力地在享受高山的同时保证所有顾客的安全。

整个滑雪场组织有序，工作人员很棒，雪的品质也很高，还有几条不同的路径可供游客们探索。这里有典型的接驳交通前往附近不同的山，以及餐厅和设施。滑雪场的通行证价格合理，食物也很便宜。

Is the resort open May 25th, 2019? Thinking of using this as a place to stay to make short day trip to Lake Louise.

Yes we have public microwaves in our base lodges Whiskey Jack Lodge & Lodge of Ten Peaks as well as in our backside lodge, Temple Lodge

A baby carrier is definitely more suitable. Moving around at the top of the Gondola with a chariot would be limiting!

Hi, we’re thinking of skiing Banff for 2 weeks next winter. We’re wondering whether to base ourselves in Banff or lake Louise - can anyone tell me long do the bus rides between Banff / Lake Louise / Sunshine take (really struggling to find schedules online)?
Also, when is generally be the best time for quality snow without it being too cold?!

Apart from the hotels and a few basic shops there isn’t much outside skiing in lake Louise, banff is a small town with plenty of cafe, restaurants, shops, museum, although we enjoyed our stay at lake Louise inn. We hired a car and the drive was about 40minx between banff and lake Louise. We skied first week Jan and had fresh snow each day and temperatures ranged between -5 and -29, plenty of layers is required and foot warmers or heated insoles, awesome place to ski

Hi, we'll be visiting Lake Louise for a couple of days, as part of a touring holiday, in July. It's not abundantly obvious to me - is the only way up to the ski resort via the gondola (which frankly, terrifies me..), or can you travel up to it in a car?

Hi,
You can drive right up to the ski base area, but if you want views you will need to take the chair lift up. As I remember it, the chair lift is the only one that runs in the summer as the upper mountain is closed to visitors during bear season. At the top of the chair, there is a fabulous restaurant with a deck which gives absolutely stunning views out to Lake Louise an the Bow Valley!
I'd also recommend the walk mentioned above by Nick D, but you may require bear spray. Many of the local trails are limited to group walks of 4 or more people due to the risks posed by bears at this time of year. The signs are clear locally and the park rangers can advise.

My family (2 adults and 2 children) are going to be in Lake Louise and Kicking Horse in March. We are all very strong skiers and we were wondering if anyone knew of any ski guides that we could hire for a day to show us the back bowls and the more "off the beaten track" parts of these areas? Having only a few days to ski here, we didn't want to lose a day to trying to figure the geography of these huge areas.

The resort can offer this service through our Snow School. Essentially, you can book an instructor/guide and they'll show you the ropes!

Hello! The weekdays are considerably less busy. This being said, even on the weekends, lineups are mostly non-existent unless it's a holiday weekend. The busiest time around the base area is from 9:30-10:30 am.

I am planning a family vacation at the end of December and my kids would like to ski. Can you recommend any hotels in Lake Louise? What about Banff?? I found Rimrock hotel in Banff, but I am not sure that the location is close to a sky slope. Thanks.

Banff is 40 minutes East of Lake Louise. The Chateau Lake Louise, Deer Lodge, and Post Hotel are all excellent hotels in the Lake Louise area that are 5-10 minutes from the ski area.
