We had a disappointing visit to Santa. He didn’t ask my kids their names or what they wanted for Christmas. My two year old had been practicing all week that he wanted bath bombs. When I encouraged him to tell Santa, Santa told me to “google it”. Not the experience I was hoping for..

I loved chinook center as a child growing up. It’s Calgary’s largest mall and is great to walk around in - that is, IF you don’t have small children. This mall is not child friendly. They do not have strollers to rent, or any play area for children to have a break in. Very surprising for the size of a mall it is. They used to have a carousel in the food court when my kids were tiny (20 years ago) but it was expensive and they removed it many years ago. We used to take our kids to Southcentre when they were small (they’re grown now). I would recommend it if you are visiting with little ones. They have a wonderful FREE children’s play area, plus strollers for rent if you need one.

Large shopping center with a wide selection of shops. There is something for everyone from very cheap to exclusive. The mall is clean and well maintained with a large food court.

Nice store, many employees, but not qualified.
We bought 2 phones for cash, provided a passport and an email address, and when we needed to get a copy of the receipt for the purchase, the store employee refused us, because the receipt did not include passport data, an email address, and it was a cash payment, so bank details too there is no
The question arises how can an employee not enter data for such a purchase. This lack of qualification of the employee became my headache.
The security service is only a ringing name, since they also cannot check whether it is really us to buy, that is, it is just a service service...

Nice mall with everything you need plus a LV store near Saks! Perfect for shopping before you you head head home. Plenty food choices as well. 🙌

Went for a movie, shopping and dinner. Chinook Centre has it all. Were also helped by a very helpful and friendly security team while we were there.

There are lots of nice malls in Calgary but this one is nice for it has great location. Right in the middle of the city and easy to get to. Has all the stores you would want.

Un très grand centre commercial avec toutes sortes de boutiques;
Vous y trouverez plein de choses mais à des prix qui ne sont pas les moins chers.
Hormis une ou deux boutiques, la seule que j'ai aimé est la petite galerie d’œuvre d'art.
