What a fantastic automotive and petroleum related museum. Such friendly and approachable staff to ask questions of. It is just an amazing visual stimulating experience. So many gas pumps and signs to enjoy. Take your time to look. Loved the garage part of the museum with a Cadillac tow truck. Do not forget to go to the basement for more vintage iron signs and memorabilia. Such an open hight ceiling with much natural light. So well set out allowing a very close look around. We spent an easy 2 hours having a really good look and going back to certain things I wanted to look at again.

Visited the museum after attending an Event and was really surprised just how much there is to see.
It was easy to walk around with a stroller and a nice play space if you have young children with you.
Good washrooms facilities on all floors.
Well worth a visit if you are heading for Heritage Park.

It’s cute place . If you are fan of old cars that’s a place to be , there is no little souvenir store so you can’t buy postcards or magnets , we didn’t find any papers with explanation an what we are looking at or a map , I feel like for something that is so iconic it could be better organized for tourist coming out of town or country . My guest was coming from Poland and there was really nothing for her to take back , when the lady that join us for the walk was from China , and we used google translate to help her understand what she was looking at … so having things for people
To read would be nice , so they know what they are touring . If you speak
English fluently you can talk

This historic museum is a must see also in Calgary, well preserved and fully restored antiques of cars signage and all type of gasoline pumps thrugh the years

Gasoline Alley was part of our Heritage Park ticket . Prepare to spend about an hour to see all of the colorful gasoline pumps and cars and trucks. We chose to see the Grounds of Heritage Park first and visited Gasoline Alley on the way out and unfortunately they were closing at 5 so we were rushed a little . Canada has done a great job with this exhibit and although we had to don our afternoon rain jackets to deal with the weather enjoyed the visit none the less. We then caught the bus from Heritage park back to downtown Calgary and spent our time in Calgary vehicle free

This was on our list of things we really wanted to do in Calgary and glad we went. There is an amazing display of restored petrol pumps and the old vehicles on display have been restored to a similarly high standard. Part of the wider Historical Park, this is a very good museum.

Superbe visite à l’entrée de l’heritage Park. Beaucoup de vieilles autos, de bornes d’essence… très chouette pour un beau retour dans le passé.

Gasoline Alley offers a beautiful collection of antique cars and other car-related memorabilia from the early 20th century, in line with the overall theme of Heritage Park. This is one of the largest collections of its type I have ever seen, so I would highly recommend a visit for car enthusiasts or really for anyone curious to learn about the early days of the automotive industry.

This is part of the excellent Calgary Heritage Park which we have reviewed separately.
It contains a fascinating display of beautifully renovated cars, trucks, a bicycle and dozens of classic patrol (gas) pumps.
The highly informed staff were very keen to share their knowledge of how the use of the automobile developed in Western Canada.
Anyone who has any interest in cars and trucks needs to see this.
