我这两年已经两次到这里旅行了。第一次是自己一个人来的，因为很喜欢这趟旅程，所以这次我是带着妻子一起来的。导游在前往精灵岛的途中给我们带来了有趣的解说，回程还对每位客人进行了回访。我两次选择的都是高级巡航旅程，感觉它能为我们在精灵岛拍照提供足够的时间。一天中游览的最佳时间是傍晚时分，那时的太阳我们身后，只照着精灵岛，非常美。

我妻子刚刚打电话给我，让我花点时间去一个能给我们的生活带来和谐时刻的地方度假。精灵岛有着漂亮的风景，长满了美丽的树木，它可能是这个国家唯一可供游客度假的国家公园。

绝对令人叹为观止！乘船（的过程）很短但很有趣，船上的司机和导游非常专业，尤其是导游，对该地区非常了解，喜欢她的澳大利亚式幽默（对不起，我忘记了她的名字）。沿途的景观也很迷人，我们大部分时间都在惊叹，拍照拍到停不下来。岛屿本身完美地位于偏远的海岸上，它的背景是一个“箱形峡谷” - 一个狭窄的峡谷，有一个平坦的底部和一面垂直的墙壁。一切都如此美丽。离开游轮（的）15分钟（活动时间）实际上绰绰有余，我们能够从多个角度拍摄一些好照片。百分百推荐！

我们有提前买票，天看起来灰暗阴沉，但是不一会太阳就出来了，我们度过了最美的旅程，景色惊艳，尤其是当天还有雪，也许是之前下的雪吧。我们强烈推荐这次旅行。

我们预订晚了，所以只好预订了“高价”旅行，很高兴我们这么做了！首先进入冰川湾地区，然后花更长时间来到精灵岛。风景美极了，非常让人放松。船长亚历克西斯为我们提供了平稳的旅程，大副安柏为我们提供了有关该地区的很多背景信息。他们都非常热情而且见多识广，让我们的旅行非常愉快。

我不得不说这是一次很棒的体验!劳拉船长和她的船员们都非常棒，很高兴遇见船长一行人!!我们的导游知道的很多，人也非常有趣。这是一次非常有趣的旅行，那里的景色美极了。一定要来这儿，拍照，沉浸在大自然母亲给予我们的美丽之中。

When is the best time to view Spirit Island to get THE BEST LIGHTING?? I want the sunlight to be behind me (like when facing east) or above, not blinding in my shot as I view the island. When most images are taken from land looking out to the island, which way are you looking? East? West? South?

actually the best time to go to the island is on the would be the photographer too. this is the last boat of the day, the light is on your west side highlighting the island. this tour is better for serious pics but more expensive since the tour is about 2 and a half hours in length with the bulk at Spirit Island. they include a photographer on it to assist in finding the iconic spots we all know and love and if something along the tour, animal watering for example is spotted, they will bring you as close as possible to it. that is something you do not get on other boat tours

Hi. How long did the cruise take in total. Maligne lake is on the other side of the mountains . What other attractions did you do that day?? Trying to organize the trip geographically the best I can. thanks!!

the general tour is approximately 90 minutes in length. you can book a "through the lens" photography tour, and have approximately an hour at the island to shoot, if something is seen, wildlife or other special request, they do accomodate very willingly

I will be visiting Lake Louise in mid-May with a friend. Seeing Spirit Island and Maligne Lake has been a dream of mine for several years, and I wanted to know if it would be possible to do the boat tour. I saw above that tours are not available until May 21, which, unfortunately is after we arrive. We were thinking of driving Lake Louise to Jasper on May 18 (starting early), spending one night, and then heading out the next day. Could you advise on whether seeing Maligne Lake is a possibility? Thank you very much.
