You will feel like a kid in a candy store!! there is a whole room with various sweets that you can choose from.
Souvenirs, British foods and more. Unfortunately the museum was closed, but this is a sweet little British Shop that's a must visit!

This little gem in chilliwack has been around for many years,it really reminds me of home there is great choice of goodies from England,my only complaint is when you buy something with the uk price on it and then you see how much the Canadian price sticker says,very disheartening

Thank you for taking the time to review us. I totally understand your comment on the U.K. pricing.
Two points to ponder ~ you find the British pricing on the labels because all of our products are genuine U.K & NOT made for export. We buy the items in Britain & have them shipped in. Many of the products with familiar labels that you may see in Canada have different ingredients. I.e. made for export.
Secondly, not only are you getting REAL British products, you are saving on the airfare !

Part of a seniors day trip to Chilliwack. Never knew this place existed and I’ve lived in Vancouver all my life. Lots of British memorabilia to look at and British made products to buy. Excellent place for Anglophiles.

This is 100% British at its very best. Food, sweets, china and tea--simply amazing. They actually offer to help you find things-so very Canadian. We drove from Vancover and it was so well worth it. Try it you will love it 10/10

An awesome place to stop by, even if not purchasing anything. My wife has British background so when planning a trip to Chilliwack this seemed like a no brainer. It is a bit of a sensory overload as there is so many different things to see, from food treats, to a crazy tea selection, to the museum part, and even a little "bakery" and places to sit and soak it all in. Would recommend swinging by here!

My apologies for the delay in responding, just adopted a rescue dog & he is taking every minute of my attention !
Thank you for your review, we always love hearing about the visits folks have made. It tells us whether we are doing a good job ( or not, heaven forbid !!! )
You are right about the "sensory overload ", we have aimed to include something for everyone, young or a little older, Brit. or non Brit !
We all hope you can visit again soon. Did you know that we have an Animated Christmas Village opening in November ? Always free and The Most Wonderful Santa ! He too is free so bring your camera ! Keep an eye on our web site, we are opening an antique shop very soon !

Our family made it's first visit to Dickens Sweets and museum this past weekend and boy are we glad we did! Fantastic selection of sweets, teas, canned goods, and crisps, etc.! If you are English and miss some of the treats from the olde country, this is a perfect place to visit. By far the best selection of English goodies to pick from of all the British shops here on the lower mainland that we have visited, and a museum to boot! There is a ton of memorabilia and collected items on display, a bunch that my wife and I haven't seen before. We will be bringing our English relatives here for sure (go figure taking the British to a British shop!) and we'll also be coming back on our own as well, and having a cup of tea and a pie. Located on a side street there is a bit of parking in front, and if that's full there's lots of street parking.

I really appreciate you writing a review but more importantly, you enjoyed your visit.

I went for the high tea and also to look at the shop. The tea was wonderful and the staff were excellent. The shop is very unusual and filled with all sorts of things. Stopped at the bakery to get things for the evening meal. Delightful place

This is sensory overload cos theres so much to catch your eyes. It was a very busy place on the Saturday we were there as a busload of tourists came in. There’s a tearoom inside, as well as Sweetshop, bakery with lots of british style pies and scones, little side rooms with vintage stuff, even a Titanic room with memorabilia upstairs. Oh and cute vintage cars too!! Like one of the signs say: Its Not Junk, Its a Collection. Oh and lots of tea, teacups and teapots and all things connected to tea!! Loved exploring this place!!

Held a baby shower for 20 today in the Tea room. It was fantastic, reasonably priced. Staff were attentive and friendly and worked very hard to make sure we had all we needed. I would highly recommend it for anyone who may not have the room in their home or parking to host a shower. Thank you Dickens!
