Just as the Covid 19 lockdown in BC was being lifted, my wife and I cycled 7 days from Chase to Osoyoos, including a loop day touring Kelowna.
Gord was extremely accomodating as he worked with us to devise an itinerary (containing a great variety of scenic routes) that met our criteria for daily km.
As his staff had not yet been vaccinated, we transported our own luggage in bike panniers.
Overall, the accomodations were on the higher end of the scale, which provided a wonderful conclusion to the end of day of riding. Gord also took the time to add points of interest, lunch suggestions, etc. Well done! A number of the wineries were closed for tastings, but we were fortunate enough to wine/dine at Quail's Gate on Okanagan Lake....worth the visit!

Gord accommodated my husband and I on a one-day, 30 mile bike tour in the Okanagan Valley in October 2019. Gord planned a great bike ride including two winery visits and allowed plenty of time for us to take photos and then relax at the final winery stop. The biking provided some much needed exercise, and the views were magnificent. I highly recommend G.O. Cycling. Gord, our coordinator, was conscientious, thorough, and communicated well.

Great trip, Well organized with a variety of rides, wonderful accommodations, wine tastings and of course Bill's exceptional lunches. Most importantly we had fun and would highly recommend!

Gordon and Bill lead an excellent team as well as scouting out routes perfect for our group of friends. A good mix of exercise, gastronomy, and laughs. Perfect for a long held group of friends.

Gord, Bill and their team arranged our 2019 Sept. cycle trip for 10 people. They paid attention to detail and met all our needs. They were concerned for our safety, planned very scenic routes and shared their knowledge of local history. One hilly day we rented e-bikes and they were an enjoyable addition to the adventure. Their chosen restaurants and accommodations were excellent and Bill provided us with delicious "picnics with a flair!!" Wine and cheese tastings, The Chef's Table and Covert Farms were fabulous.

Giro did a fantastic job. First rate accommodation, great dinning spots, attentive and knowledgeable guides. A very well planned four day tour with interesting and appropriate biking for our age group. Extremely well organized. As good a bike tour as we have ever been on.

Our group of friends plan a cycle trip every fall and have experienced tours arranged by companies around the world. Gord and Bill’s Giro Okanagan ranks with some of the best. Pre-trip communication was excellent, as was communication during the trip. They checked all routes the week before and modified the itinerary when they found some routes had deteriorated. Gord had just the right amount of historical information for us . The routes were varied and the guides great. We experienced wine and cheese tastings, a fabulous Chef’s table dinner and wonderful picnic lunches hosted by Bill.
For an active Okanagan experience one would be hard pressed to find a better company!

When my husband and I were looking for a wedding anniversary and 50th birthday trip we looked at many possible destinations. We decided on the Okanagan Valley. Gord at Giro Okanagan worked with us to design a custom set of rides and experiences for our group of eight people. While there were many highlights, the Green Mountain ride was our favourite. Gord and team did a masterful job organizing all three days with unique and interesting cycling experiences, great food and fun wine, cheese, beer and cider tastings. Group members had different cycling aspirations and Gord and his team of expert, nice, interesting guides and drivers accommodated everyone. Excellent Trek bikes were ready for each of us each morning, appropriate for the planned rides. Guides were attentive to the likelihood of changing weather conditions and to the needs of everyone, whether it was a tougher or not so challenging ride any of us wanted at any point. More and less experienced cyclists all enjoyed cycling with Gord and his guides. We didn’t wait for a minute for fantastic meals or transportation, which was always together in a Mercedes van. The last day was capped off with a very unique outdoor dinner experience at a great cidery.
We can’t think of anything that could be improved.

Giro designed a custom group tour that offered a wonderful experience of the Okanagan (great dining, wine tastings and history) with three exceptional and unique days of riding. We had a very diverse group in terms of cycling experience and Giro designed an itinerary that met everyone's wishes. The guides were excellent cyclists and great company on our rides. They were attentive to everyone’s ability and energy and made sure everyone had the experience they wanted on each ride. The entire Giro staff was very accommodating, adjusting frequently to ensure everyone rode distance and intensity they wanted while still getting us all together at planned wine tastings, lunch stops, etc. The trip far exceeded my expectations, the Okanagan was a great place to ride and I'll definitely be back to discover more great rides.

Mark..we'd love to have you back anytime to ride with us! We still have some great routes to discover! BTW, I was back in Sundre this past weekend for a school reunion. The place hasn't changed.

We had an amazing time cycling with family and friends in beautiful Okanagan. Gord and the Giro team tailored our trip to our different cycling abilities yet ensured we met each day for lunch in beautiful settings. Our guides were great and flexible to accomodate all of our requests. Bill, thank-you for your great lunches and catering to our every need! Myra Canyon was spectacular. Very happy memories and will do it again!
