Good place to walk in summer when it's not raining. There are many trails. The one I like is near 29th avenue.

This forest is picturesque and the park affords many trails for hiking. Not far away, but it actually feels worlds away from the city. Peaceful.

...then this area is for you. Now, I only dealt with a small part of this park, near the northeast corner. If you examine a map, you will see that the park forms a buffer between the city proper and the endowment lands; from Burrard Inlet all the way to the Strait of Georgia.
Back to the trails leading from Chancellor Boulevard to the Point Grey Beach - steep in places, but wide with good soil surface. Stairs and handrails where necessary. I went alone on a dry day, but in retrospect, if the trails were likely to be wet or icy, I suggest it would be prudent to bring a buddy. Outside of a few dog walkers, I saw few people on this weekday morning. I found the view at the bottom worth the effort and expect you will too.

You want to get away from the city but not leave the city? Sure, there's Stanley Park, but you're going to hear the traffic from the causeway that bisects the park. Head out instead to the University of British Columbia on the no.44 (Burrard Street stops) or other bus, and then walk into the forest from Blanca Street, walking south about 500 metres to one of the trails. The park is huge and extends from the ocean to the north (English Bay) across to Southwest Marine Drive, and then if you aren't pooped yet from all that walking or biking or running, you can go down to the Southlands area where there are mansions and horses.

The Salish Trail is a very special for us..it is part of the Pacific Spirit Regional Park in the west side of Vancouver .. there is a vast network of trails available…we parked on the south side of 16th avenue near the trail entrance and proceeded into this snowy afternoon on January 2022 and were met with breathtaking beauty…slick parts of the trail needed to be watched

I went a few afternoons during my trip to walk to this park, I started my walk in Jericho beach and went all over until I reached this place, it is a very beautiful place to walk, the only thing is that people do not follow the rules and leave their dogs off leash. I love dogs and all, but in one day I had more than 3 dogs jumping on me, yes I love them, but I was passing through some harsh times and it was my moments of meditation and kept being interrupted by doggies,,, you get tired after a while... otherwise, the place is great.

We rented two hybrids from YES Cycles on Burrard, biked to the park and cycled through. Highly recommend! (Check the route to make sure you are up for the distance.) :-)

Just great to get away from the city clutter and take a hike nearby. This is a area gem for the vast number of hikes, paths, scenery and places to just sit and relax. We love coming over to this Regional Park. The Lilly of the Valley Hike is just great. You can't go wrong.

We parked at the 16th and Blanca location and decided to walk the very path friendly Sherry Sakamoto Trail which parallels the car and bike lanes on the roadway..we wandered alongside both trails on each side of 16th Avenue to be in the sun on our way to Westbrook Mall Road and then stroll in the shade on the southern portion of the pathway..there are many branch trails along the way if one chooses to take a stroll into the very beautiful and welcoming negotiated trails..

This park has something special. It is positively beautiful and very tranquil once you are in the Park. Lot's of dogs with their owners. Most dogs are wonderful and friendly. Sadly there are some very irresponsible dog owners who drop poop bags (full ones) everywhere hoping others will pick them up. Truly loved walking the trails. Not too many people and hardly any bikes. Would thoroughly recommend a walk in this park.
