Excellent fishing charter. Captain Eddie is great and gets you on fish. This is the second time I have fished with them and that says it all. Highly recommend for a great day on the water.

We had an amazing time even with the weather! Capt. Ed was awesome, one thing we all really liked is he took the time to explain why he does what he does and why it has worked for him.

From the start Pacific Angler nailed it! Working with Kathryn Sharp to organize the day trip and provide advice on fishing times and where we would be picked up communication was quick and efficient.
Then meeting Captain Eddie who was energetic and engaging the whole day, lots of jokes but extremely attentive to the rods and when it was go time he was ultra focused! We got into fish right away and throughout the morning nailed down the depth and location of the coho we were targeting to the point we were getting hits every pass or two while trolling. A great day on the water and then when we were dropped off Captain Eddie did a great job cleaning and filleting all the fish and with a quick recipe from the Captain the three of us ate 1.5 salmon fillets that night! Delicious!

Today my family and I have a great fishing day with Captain Eddie. He is a very nice person and a very professional angler. We had a great day, we have cought some very nice Chinhek and some Coha salmon.
For me it was my first experience with salmon and I'm looking forward to come back!

A memorable day! We will never forget this day of salmon fishing, we were lucky to have as captain Eddie Matthei, a dedicated and very experienced person. Everything was perfect. I caught 16 beautiful salmon in 4 hours and my husband caught 17. 33 salmon.....almost impossible. Thanks again for everything. We will return .

The trip was a complete very good experience!! Started early on time , we got a lot of fishing, catch and release. The Captain Matthei has a lot of experience and expertise!!!

Today, I had the pleasure of going on a fishing trip with my son to celebrate his graduation, and it was an experience we will cherish forever. From the moment we set foot on the boat, we were greeted with warm smiles and a great sense of excitement and humor from Eddie, our captain.The fishing trip exceeded our expectations in every way. Eddie was very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient, making sure that me and my son had a great time. He shared interesting facts about the local marine life and provided helpful tips on fishing techniques, which I really appreciate as it’s my first fishing trip in Canada!
The boat itself was well-maintained and equipped with all the necessary fishing gear. We felt safe and comfortable throughout the trip, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience. The captain even offered a complimentary whales watching and we were lucky enough to watch them 🥹 Also, apart from the fishing itself, the breathtaking views of the surrounding nature were an added bonus. I cannot recommend this fishing trip enough. It was a perfect way to celebrate my son's graduation, and we created memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. If you're looking for an unforgettable fishing experience with a knowledgeable captain, stunning views, and great opportunities for catching fish, this trip is a must-try.

Went out with Capt Eddie, had a great time. He was patient and helpful, knowledgeable about the sport. We caught many chinook salmon and was able to keep one, along with many prawns. Kathryn was helpful for coordinating the trip. Easy to talk to and great with communication. Can't wait until the next time I get a chance to do this again, will definitely be booking with Pacific Anger.

Booked a fishing excursion with Pacific Angler, on Oct.28/2023..for 6 hrs. Eddie Matthel was our guide and captain on a 28 ft Grady White, the trip was awesome we landed quite a few chinook salmon and Eddie was very knowledgeable, as he has been fishing local waters around Vancouver BC for over 30 yrs...he is very well organized and explains everything even a beginner would understand. He is polite and courtesess, he stays on top of with communication and safety awareness...I would definitely recommend Pacific Anglers and Eddie Matthel as your guide...great fishing trip.

Very exciting fishing experience! We got 2 salmons for the first time in our lives! Captain Eddie was very friendly, he explained us a lot of things about the fishing of salmons and more. We also saw eagles and seals 🤩

Hi,
We can take a maximum of 6 guests on a trip. The price of the trip varies based on the length of the trip.
Here is a quick overview of our prices:
6 guests, 5 hour trip - $875+GST (5% tax)
6 guests, 8 hour trip - $1225+GST

Hi Kathrine,
The rates are based on # of guests and length of the trip.
So for 1 guest on a 5 hour trip the rate is $600+GST (5% tax) for the trip. If you were looking for an 8 hour trip the rate for 1 guest on that trip is $925+GST
Our trips are private trips (e.g. reserved exclusively for you and your group). If there is only one guest and you were looking to share a trip to keep the costs down we can always add your name to our list of guests looking to share a charter and we can try to match you up with someone.

Hi Facundo,
If you're not interested in sturgeon fishing you can get out and do some salmon fishing with us.
There are a range of trip lengths you can do. Either 5, 8 or 10 hour trips. Prices vary on the length of trip you decide on and the number of gusts in your group. Will anyone else be joining you fishing? Or is it just yourself?
