I needed to urgently catch a flight at the last minute and was Very tight on time to get there. .Claudia in the office was so incredibly efficient and kind. My phone call to book the flight was answered promptly and she called me back 10 min later to confirm that I was almost there . She waited for me at the gate and let me pay at the office after the flight. I am so grateful and Sea Air is so lucky to have such a great employee working with them!

Such an excellent service from Richmond to Pender Island. The weather was very stormy and I waited for 24 hours at two different airports. ferries cancelled.
We all waited patiently for the weather to clear and I was able to make it home that afternoon.

Had a great relaxing smooth flight from Richmond to Salt Spring few days ago with SEAIR seaplane , lovely weather and It is the best fast way travel to Salt Spring Island about half hour flying time , 100% better the 3 hours from the ferry , very affordable lot cheaper book on line plus there is discount for senior and student , three daily departure , we have the large modern aircraft for 9 people , clean and comfortable very smooth ride with spectacular scenic view and experience pilot . truly recommend SEAIR to any Island rounds .

Wow…lots of strange and petty reviews on here about old equipment, high costs and poor service on board. Nonsense! I have been flying to Vancouver Island for over 25 years and Seair is my go to seaplane service when heading to Nanaimo. The prices are cheaper than Harbour Air, they can usually accommodate me last minute and the staff are awesome and down to earth. The planes are all modern Cessna Caravans with a large entry door and leather seats. Never had a problem and they are always there to provide service.

This is the smaller of the operators at the base that we actually booked with in error, intended to go with Harbour Air who appear to run flights much more frequently. Needed to upgrade to "Tour 3" as there no numbers for "Tour 2". Turned out to be our good fortune. As well as a tour of the harbor this tour lands on a lake in Indian Arm "fjord" and this was quite something. Pilot gave a great commentary and the sights were spectacular.

Seair is fantastic! This company has brought me and my family to the gulf islands for the last 10 years, and I can’t recommend them enough. They offer charters at very reasonable cost, making the otherwise challenging trip into a remote island (>4hrs by car/ ferry/ boat from Van island) incredibly simple (25mins) and the trip across is simply stunning. The kids look forward to it every time as one of the highlights of the trip. Not to mention, the customer service is simply excellent. The staff are so helpful and accommodating, and have been able to help us through last minute cancellations, re routing and challenging weather conditions. The planes are well maintained and I have always noted their commitment to safety, especially around weather which I really value. I hope they are around forever, they are my favorite to fly with.

Best seaplane company on the island! As an islander, I always fly Seair. Staff we super friendly and they offer free parking on the Nanaimo side for up to 7 days! This is such a great option, not to mention they are/ can be a lot cheaper than harbour air!
We just flew to YVR on Oct.30 from Nanaimo harbour and we are always in awe of how professional and friendly the staff are. I won’t fly with any other sea plane company. I would give 10 stars if I could.

We were due to fly from Nanaimo to Vancouver at 3:15pm, however we arrived early and were delighted to be offered an earlier flight with the added bonus that we could leave our hire car at the Seair site rather than taking it back to the hire depot.

Thank you for your 5 star review. We are pleased to offer a variety of fare tiers, each one with it's own perks, including flight change flexibility. We also work quite closely with the car rental companies in Nanaimo, and being able to leave the car at our terminal, is another added bonus. We are glad you had a terrific experience and do hope that you'll join us again.

I booked the Vancouver City Skyline tour as a surprise for my mums birthday and it was spectacular.
The booking process was quick and easy, communication was excellent.
We arrived and the check in was really quick, then our pilot arrived.
The seaplane was excellent, everyone has a window seat so the view is superb. The flight lasted longer than advertised and we got to see all the major sights of the city, they spent time showing us the plane after we landed and took some lovely photos for us.
Highly recommended.

I have tried to find the "select seat" option while I reserve the flight on your website , but can find nothing about it.
Could you tell me how to do it? I read comments that passengers will reserve "select seats" (co-pilot and bigger seats by windows) at counter of terminal when they show up there, otherwise no guarantee for passengers who booked online. Is that true?

I'm sorry but we do not have a "select seat" option or pre-assigned seat option available online, as you mentioned. If you would like to request a specific seat such as beside the pilot or a direct window seat, please contact our office directly. We'd be more than happy to make a request for you and there is no additional charge.

About seairseaplanes if our flight is delayed for some reasons how could I do? I booked ticket to Edmonton next day, I prepare to take Seairseaplanes from Nanaimo to Vancouver international airport . So I want to know what is the solution for a delay if it may occur.

Hello W D, thank you for your question. If there are potential weather delays for our flights, we do our best to contact our passengers so that they may consider alternate transportation. We recommend contacting Seair prior to your flight and also allow yourself plenty of time to take alternate transportation if we cannot fly, so that you can still make your connecting flight.
