First time visit with friends to attend Vancouver Film Festival movie. Very upscale venue. Large spaces provided so that public or private events can be held.
The seating was extremely plush, deep, and gave each guest 2 wide upholstered arm rests. More Comfortable than any theatre I've ever been too.
Small bar and snack stand available.

Every sort of Independent and first run international movies that you can find from all over the world. Comfy seats. Great food options. Pretty darn good customer service.

Nice theater with roomy, comfy seating for viewing films or panel discussions (both of which occurred when I visited), and in a prime location. I'll go back for sure.

Vancity is a lovely theatre with plush, comfortable seats and plenty of room to manoeuvre..
We had not been before and are now enlightened as to another cultural experience in our home city.
Although you need membership to see the films here, it's affordable.
Staff are knowledgeable and there is some interaction pre and post showings. A snack bar is nicely stocked with the basics and there's a light filled, lofty lounge area in the lobby.
The theatre has some excellent indie offerings for those who want more than just mainstream entertainment. It's definitely a place to keep on the radar.
For Vancouverites it's a gem.

Really nice theater playing independent and foreign movies. There is only a single screen so only one show at a time. There tends to be a personal introduction of what they are showing. Very comfortable seating, good cushioning though showing slight sign of age. You can get the basic snacks plus alcohol. Membership is required and you can upgrade your membership to VIfF+ for free popcorn or discounted food purchase, access to events and reduced price tickets.

didn't like any of the movies on at the downtown theatres or had seen them, so i came across this spot. had never been before. staying at the westin bayshore so walked from there, a bit longer than the 30 minutes GPS said it would be, so we arrived just as the movie was starting. had bought tickets on line. sits 175, very comfortable seats, lots of leg room, don't even have to move when someone walks in front of you. the building opened in 2005, so I'm only 14 years not knowing about it! good film. bought a membership after. lobby quite busy when we came out. regulars by the sounds of the greetings. interesting photos on the walls. obviously a success. glad I've discovered it and looking forward to returning!

電影院常年會有不同文化的電影🎬節活動，都是因為這些活動才會來這裡看電影。出奇地，每次都可以在街上找到泊車位，當然要入錢，可以泊得近到在門口，超方便，這次去座天車，在 Granville 站下車，沿著 Seymour 街一直行，大約十五分鐘（不是很近），沿途有很多餐廳可以先吃個餐，然後去看電影🎬。另外，我比較喜歡座樓上，人沒那麼多，又看得清楚。

They always have a great selection of movies. I also love their special events when they bring live music.

I've gone to this theatre a number of times for some of their independent film viewings as well as for a couple of their director talks. All of which have been great. The theatre has comfy plush seating and the concession, while not stocking the usual oversize candy and soft drinks, has an appropriate mix of drinks (alcohol as well) and treats. The $2 yearly fee for joining the VIFF, which you must pay to watch a movie there, is so low that it's not a burden. Tip: their offerings change often so I have found its best to join their newsletter to learn about all the happenings at the theatre. Unfortunately, films don't repeat much (if at all) so it's best to plan ahead.

This is a super comfy theater. The snacks are mostly adult oriented and the movies are most likely an art or international or documentary film. The seats are high backed and comfortable.
