This is a really nice park in Downtown Vernon to the right as you are coming into town. There is a skateboard park, lawn bowling, and this year a great night market. I really hope the night market returns as it is one of a few things you can do on a Friday night in Vernon.

We came for the Friday evening market. So many vendors! The water park is removed, and you'll have the occasional uncomfortable interaction with locals, but the duck ponds, the Japanese garden, and the boardwalk makes for a pretty walk. We saw some deer, birds, and squirrels!

This park has several sections that cater to different park activities. With parking area all around that is an added convenience. A quick pit stop to say hello to the birds is always nice activity to break the day.

Fantastic park, right across from Tim Hortons drive thru. Great for walking and enjoying the gardens and ponds.

It was lovely to stroll through this beautiful park; I was touched by the memorial to Duchess the Swan. However the pond's water level was very low and murky. Be aware of sketchy people skulking about in the evening hours.

very pretty area for a lunch or stroll but avoid the area in the evening and the skateboard area. Seems to be a hang out for those who have no place to go lots of sketchy activity

Polson Park is a wonderful place to stroll, listen to music, birdwatch, and/or people watch!! I love the willow trees!! I love the duck pond! I love the Japanese garden!

I was impressed by how well kept the flower beds and grassy areas in this park are. There are also other facilities for the whole family- water park, playground, outdoor stage, tennis courts, running track etc.
