We had an awesome experience: dinner & drinks in the pub, then some play time on the slots. The staff were all helpful and friendly. We were surprised they closed at midnight (on a Thursday) as we planned on making a whole night of it! Great casino - check it out if you’re in the area!

I come to Vernon for work every 3 to 6 months and we stay at a nearby hotel so Wings and the casino is our go to places. Always been a great experience….until a jacked up security guard (Jesse) decided he needed to pull a power trip after joking with me the night before. It came out of nowhere and all I did was call his name to get him to come over. I guess I was out of line and was told I was on my last chance with him. If I was being out of line by “calling his name” then fine! Come over and pull me aside but to come over yelling at me and trying to belittle me in-front of other PAYING customers was uncalled for and not needed.
Bad experience and uncalled treatment. Jesse you should be ashamed of your actions!

Small casino but still fun. Up to date slot games. Great Pub attached, Match. Friendly staff. Clean and well maintained.
Small parking lot. If you're driving a rv rig the best place to park is across the street in north end of Superstore parking lot.

This was my first visit to the casino proper (excluding the Match restaurant) in a few years.
It has been 3 weeks since the casino reopened due to covid. Many machines were broken, and we wish there was more space for social distancing purposes when walking through the casino.
Staff was polite and friendly. Clean environment. It was relaxing and calm in there for a late Friday night even with a large crowd.
Plus we won at the slot machines!

we visit here often. We went for half price buffet. As we leave my husband gets a toothpick to clean his teeth. So we are playing the machines at the back of casino.Older security man with glasses comes up to us and says "just to let you know, there is no vaping or smoking in here" we said yea we know. He said I'm serious there is NO vaping allowed. we your joking right?? we are not doing either (we dont do either of those anyway). we said again your joking to us right??? are you serious? YES no vaping. Then my husband realizes he has his toothpick in his mouth. Is that what he thought he was doing? smoking his toothpick or maybe vaping it. WHERE IS THE SMOKE? With all the cameras in there they could not decipher if it was a toothpick or vape/smoking. Totally accused us of doing wrong. very rude and unprofessional. Maybe walk by and access situation before you shoot your mouth off accusing. REALLY, nice work dude.

I am sorry for the way you were treated while at the Casino. We do our best to make sure that all our patrons have a great entertainment experience.
We will be reviewing our policies and procedures with all of our Security personnel to ensure this does not happen again.

I’m 39 and go to the Casino regularly. Today I went in for breakfast at 10am with my parents and my younger sister, and decided to play some slots after we ate. As I left the restaurant with my family, I was asked to provide ID. Being 39 years old, I was really surprised and thought the security guard was joking. When he said he was serious I shook my head in annoyance and took out my ID. I know it is his job but it was annoying as I’m obviously not under 19. I took out my ID as he requested. As I shook my head, he got “snappy” and says he needs a second piece. I pull out my second piece and said I was 40. He said I look young and then said I shouldn’t be shaking my head because I am being rude to him. He got quite confrontational. His voice was elevated which made me respond with, “you’re being rude to me man”. He then said I was the rude one and proceeded to tell me he was going to ban me if I kept it up and that they “ban people all the time”, all because I was shaking my head. I didn’t swear, I didn’t refuse to provide ID, just shook my head because I was annoyed (and because he didn’t ID my little younger sister who was with me).
I’m not upset that I was ID’d, I get it is part of the job. What is upsetting is that this security guard decided he wanted to escalate the situation by telling me I’m rude and threatening to ban me. I could understand if I refused to provide ID or if I was swearing or causing a ruckus, but simply shaking my head as I’m pulling out my ID is no reason to escalate a situation and go right to a ban threat.
In my view he should have been professional. Accepted the ID I gave him, say, “have a good time”. He should ignore that I shook my head and asked if he was being serious when he asked for my ID. Again, I did not say anything rude other than ask if he was serious and tell him that I was 40 and went there regularly. I didn’t raise my voice or insult him. If he doesn’t like people shaking their head while they try pull their ID out of their wallet, perhaps he needs a new job. I can’t imagine what he would be like if I were actually a rude or belligerent person.
I ended up leaving fairly quickly after this experience. I didn’t feel much like having fun and this confrontation made me feel harassed and bullied. I’m a very respectful person and rarely get into conflict with people. If he reads this, I apologize that I shook my head but I would appreciate an apology around being harassed and threatened to be banned from the casino.

Not having been there for quite sometime, decided to give it a try. Nice selection of slot machines and other games, albeit no big winner here, it was a lot of fun.

We found this casino very pleasant although they close for the evening at 2AM. They open at 8AM. The staff is very helpful and cheerful and all seem to have worked there since the opening.Would enjoy going back. We also won which helps make an evening of gambling fun. The bar served great drinks and the restaurant was not all bad!

Enjoyed buffet. Like to play Blackjack. Was really happy when they had $3 tables and they took them away. Still go but not as enthused . Maybe I'm cheap. LOL

We always have a good time at the casino. We usually go into Match for some food. Good selection of food. I like to start with the spicy wonton's for an appy. The Blackened chicken sandwich is my favorite. The service can be slow when busy that's to be expected.
