Upon arriving at the parking lot we received a phone call informing us our zip-line reservation was cancelled due to high wind. But it was a beautiful day with barely a breeze.
Thinking the call was a mistake we went to the check-in desk. They confirmed the zip-line had been cancelled, and offered us a credit or a VIP pass for a future date. We had taken a weekday afternoon off work and rented a car from Toronto to get there, so would be loosing more money by rescheduling.
We asked for a complimentary upgrade of our reservation to the game-trek course, arguing it was unfair for them to inconvenience us for problems on their end. They refused to waive the token $14 upgrade cost, which seemed poor customer service considering the original reservation was $120.
In not wanting to leave empty handed we agreed to pay extra for the game-trek. At least that course was interesting enough to salvage most of the unpleasantness we experienced earlier.

Hey Baseer, we are sorry to hear of your experience! We do have to close our parks down for high winds and thunderstorms as it is unsafe to climb our courses. We monitor the weather from Environment Canada and the Weather Network and have strict policies to follow in order to ensure customer safety. We try to contact people as soon as possible when we are experiencing unfortunate weather in the park but we must be experiencing the weather in the park. Our policies are listed with explanations on our website via the drop-down menu if you would like to view that. We do require 24 hours notice to reschedule and 48 hours notice to cancel and receive a full refund.

Fun course in beautiful surroundings with a lovely view of the lake. Especially beautiful this time of year with the changing colours! The course is fun and not too hard. The add on zip line was definitely worth it and recommended. The staff were all great.

Went with a group of 6 and a great time was had by all. Very well laid out course and up to date, or new apparatus. The guides were well trained, abundant, and always asking for feedback. Washrooms were clean and there was plenty of free parking.

We booked the Blue Herron run for Sunday afternoon, about 2.5 hours from start to finish. Sebastian was our guide and he was TERRIFFIC. He prepped us perfectly, was very conscious of our safety, and yet was friendly and outgoing which enhanced the experience a great deal. I am 71 and had a hip replacement 2 years ago - yet I managed all the ladders and climbing to platforms easy enough. If I can do it, anyone can do it. This was a thrilling experience and we got a lot of entertainment for $30.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. The courses were all fun with varying degrees of difficulty. The safety equipment was top notch and everything has been maintained very well. I would strongly recommend gloves, which are available for purchase at check in.

Telephone booking system created problems and made for large groups to do activities, but the staff worked to accommodate us as best they could. Guides were friendly and clear in their instructions. We did the Red Hawk Canopy tour and the Blue Heron zip line. Both contained unexpected surprises and challenges but it was an overall enjoyable experience. As a senior citizen it gave me a real sense of accomplishment to complete these courses.

Amazing experience! We spent 4 hours and wow the location the staff super nice and all the equipment was clean the facilities were all clean and well maintained .. wish there was a concession booth with coffee sandwiches muffins.. that would be a plus

Hi, I have heard about the add a ride on the Blue Heron zip line and I'm wondering if it is not only the time of 1:30 that we need to go and line up but any time rage.

It depends on what activity you will be participating in. The most popular Aerial game trek will be around $64. The Blue heron sip line will be $30 but it is only available in Brampton. If you want to experience both, there is a add on for blue heron when you buy the Aerial game trek and it will only cost you $15 instead of $30

Do they check ID’s to verify that a child is actually 9 years old? My daughter is turning 9 in a few months, but definitely meets all height and weight requirements as she is very tall for her age.

We went last weekend and no ID was checked! I am sure they will let her on the course. It’s more a situation of her being capable to climb and be successful in the course.

Hello, i am wondering how long from arrival to finish it takes to go across the lake and back. I am planning to take a small group of 12 year olds and want to know how long the blue heron run would take from safety briefing to finish. Thanks to all that respond.

Hi, The Blue Heron Zip Line only takes 30 sec to cross. You do cross it twice. There are 2 kids per platform, so this will be your only wait time. From arrival to completing the Blue Heron Zipline (only) with 12 kids should take 30 min at the most. The reason for this is, the kids will cross the first Zip line and hold there until you roast kid crosses. Then they start the kids returning back across the lake, and the kids have to "Trekk" to some of the platforms to be in position to Zip Line back across the lake. I hope this helps. The staff there are wonderful and very helpful. If you have a deadline, tell them ahead- I did, and they will do their best to meet the time line. Enjoy!
