Greetings Liz J, We're so glad you enjoyed your visit. The Emergence Window is definitely a popular point of interest - watching a butterfly emerge from its chrysalis or take its first flight into the Conservatory is such a magical sight! Thanks so much for sharing your kind words, and we hope to have you back again soon!

Greetings, We're sorry to hear that your visit fell short of your expectations. We are continuously looking to improve our guests' experience and appreciate your feedback. Chatting with our staff is the best way to get the most out of your visit. Our Nature Interpreters are always in the Conservatory showing off our tropical critters and sharing fun facts about what we do here. During the summer months we offer guided tours three times daily, joining in on one of these is a great way to enjoy a more interactive, hands on experience. We've also recently expanded our insect collection - we now have 12 species of tropical bugs on display in our galleries and we're excited to keep it growing. Thank you for taking the time to write your review, we are very grateful for our guests' support - it allows us to keep doing what we do and also make plans for better programming and maybe even a bigger greenhouse one day.

Greetings lanabananaOG, Thanks so much for writing your review! There's nothing quite like experiencing the Conservatory through a child's eyes, their curiosity is always inspiring. the Emergence Window is a popular point of interest for our guests because learning about the butterfly lifecycle is fascinating and getting to see a butterfly emerge from its chrysalis and fly into the Conservatory for the first time is really magical! Were you brave enough to eat a bug? We have edible insects for sale all year round in the Gift Store, but the real fun is during BugFeast, our annual March Break event. Every year is a different theme and all week we serve up different recipes with real insects, included with admission. We have a lot of fun with it and our guests return year after year. If you've never been, mark it on your calendar for a must-do experience next March Break!
