I played this course for the first time last Friday. The course was by far the worst as far as conditions go - bare dirt, dried out and very hard in my 30 years of playing golf. I understand it is summer but and it has been hot so I expect the fairways to be a little dry but the greens were atrocious . To top off the conditions I have never felt so sandwiched between groups playing. I was pushed from behind from the start only because the group in front was extremely slow. There was no one marshalling the starts or the course which made this an unpleasant experience and I would assume that the club is over booking. Its too bad because the course itself by design is really nice for beginners like my family. We will not be back.

Have played the course 15-20 times over the last 25 years. It's a decent layout. Played on May 25th. The condition of the course for the time of year was brutal. The fairways were not properly cut. The rough throughout the course was long and with huge amounts of long grass clippings on it. We were losing balls even when they landed on the fairway! The greens were cut OK but a large number of them had tracks of some kind on them that showed no signs of being repaired. We later heard that they had been unable to cut the grass during the rainy period. Also heard they have no machine to properly remove the grass clippings. They need to get this right if they expect people to return.

The course has water issues and is dry as a desert in the summer. Unless there is a heavy rain, then it floods. Everyone who plays there knows that. The layout is fun, playable and can be challenging from the proper tees. The kitchen staff is second to none. Fast friendly when they are not understaffed. The course does not have "marshals" on the course which would help speed up play. The Pro shop staff is friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a fun round with people of different skill sets, this is for you. If you are looking for perfectly manicured course, do not bother.

When you book at Scenic Woods.
Got a fair price for a round online for Scenic Woods so we thought. Tee off was at 1 but what we were not told was we were directly behind a tournament arranged by so.e younger people most of whom never golfed before. Tee of was a about half hour late. There was no discipline or organization at all. After tee off it was one full hour later we see waiting on the third tee. I had no choice but to call the club house and complain. It was like a bunch of school kids with no teacher. The marshal came out and did the best he could but by that time alcohol (among other things) were taking effect.
The pace increased slightly but still resulted in a 6 and a half hour round. Players hanging off carts like driving like it was a go cart track.
Its seems the owner is more concerned about filling tee times regardless of how it effects people who actually golf on a regular basis and will return to a course that provides a more golfer and family atmospbere.
This is the second time this year played there and the second time this happened.
Absolutely no control over the kids allowed to play on the course plus it was no secret complaints had been filed.
Never at any cost would I go back or recommend this course which is to bad because it isn't a bad layout and the greens are decent.

This membership is great not limiting you to only one course for just under $900. Still have to purcase a cart but your crazy if you donèt. They also have acart deal if you golf a lot. Club house is above average and same with the food they serve. The staff are all amazing from Starters to beer girls to clubhouse staff. I see myself being a member for awhile. Golf could be pricey if not a member I recommend you get golf now deal. Course Is always in great ship and challenging but will not kill you. Average golfers have a good time here!

Played under $30 with cart first and last time I played decent layout but not in good shape very dry glad I didn't pay any more.
