Best walking paths along the river and through the park very lively on the weekend. So many animals and friendly people to meet.

Beautiful bike ride on the riverbank, from this downtown park to Springbank Park. It’s woodsy, with views of the river from the south side the whole way (5 miles). Perfect for a Sunday afternoon ride, and while there were other people using the bikepath, it was still really nice!

Nice trail and beautiful views. It's a good place for anyone to enjoy the nature beauty. It's perfect for hiking, picnic etc.

Well maintained yet kept natural. Such a pleasant place to walk with wide paved pathways. Alongside the Thames River, with a variety of birds in all sizes, and tiny critters scurrying about. Loads of people to meet at the playground, Storytown or merely along pathways. Beautiful trees, water fowl, and benches for a break. Bike riding, a favourite excercise here, and dogs a plenty, (on leash).
Lots of parking and a few washrooms as well.

While visiting London, Ontario, my wife and I decided to take a hike in the park. We wanted to try Sifton Bog but found out it was closed. We then drove to Springbank Park. The park was hopping with scores of children and adults walking, running, riding bikes, scooters, and skateboards, picnicking and playing games. This is a nice place to visit, lots to do and see.

My wife and I ventured to Springbank Park to take a stroll. She had been here years ago as a child but we just wanted to take a hike. The park is very large with trees and shade everywhere and the Thames River runs through it. Our stroll was short but enjoyable. Lots of places to play and picnic. An awesome place to enjoy.

Beautiful park and mature trees , but closer to the pavilion would be nice to have a better view of the river, with perhaps some of the extensive foliage removed.

Took a Subway meal for a picnic at the park. Sat with a flock of Canadian Geese giving us the ‘look’ before they settled down to rest. Was so nice to sit and watch ‘the world go by’ without any electronic gadgets sounding off. Took a nice walk as well.
Down side was the mess the Geese left on the path which made it somewhat difficult to leisurely stroll with out watching where one was stepping.
This is a lovely city park for family gatherings, bike riding and other physical activities along with Storybook Gardens for the young and young at heart.

is spring bank park separate from storybook gardens? can you just go into the park for free if you don't want to do storybook?

The boats, the canoe club are all gone from the park, for sometime, Since the mess on the dam there is not enough water in the river for a dingy never mind a boat and because the dam will be removed there never will be enough water for any kind of activity.
