We were the first to arrive (1 of 2 groups that actually showed up 45 minutes early as they say you need to), but did not get first selection of seats some people ran around us to the front and then brought their whole group forward. When I mentioned this, I was told I was being childish by the guide. I just figured it should be as with pretty much anything, first come, first served. They mention that the first 4 rows have a rougher wetter ride, but be aware being in the second row with the amount of water coming in was scary and just a little much for me, a thrill seeker at heart who loves white water rafting. I felt at one point as if I was almost being drowned as there was so much water coming over the bow, for a long enough time that I was gasping for breath between waves and it was quite the challenge not to inhale water. The water was to the bottom of the seats a one point on the boat, witch is a lot of water and extremely cold. We could barely hang on also through the rapids as the volume of water was so high coming into the boat. I have been on several jet boat rides before, and while thrilling, none felt as dangerous as this one did. Be careful if you sit in the first 4 rows. Overall it was fun, but I think the prep needs to be better and more organized and better training for the staff, to ensure a good experience for all!
