We had the best time ever!! I went with my daughter, nephew and niece (aged 10 to 15) and did The Castle. It was so well done!! It is relatively easy to do (what I mean is that is a accessible for kids) and the room is so realistic! The employees were great and made our experience fantastic. Highly recommended! Thanks! :-)

We had a great time at the Cabin in the woods!

We did the CSI room and had so much fun!
We will definitely be back to do another room.
We were 3 adults who have done escape rooms before and can say this was one of our favourite.

In fairness, we got caught in traffic and we were 10 minutes late. We apologized but right off the bat, it was clear these people were not the hospitable, listening types. They talked over us, they hustled us to the room even while we were still filling out waivers. They didn’t seem to hear a single word we said and no one looked us in the eye. We might as well have been paint on the wall. We felt unwelcome and they really killed the mood. We always take pictures after an escape room but they never even offered and we were too uncomfortable to ask or stick around. What a disappointment. Worst escape room experience EVER!!! We cannot ever recommend.

I have been here twice, each with a different group of friends (adults early to mid 30s). Our most recent trip was May 2023 in the Pirates Code. We also did the Cabin in the Woods in April 2019 (but I don't think I wrote a review back then). We successfully escaped both rooms within the time limit. Both were fun, manageable, and interesting. I liked the Pirates Code better of the two as it felt like there was more variety within the room. I would come back here to do another room. The staff was great - they were friendly and very clear on instructions. I was a bit disappointed that they did not offer pics or props this time around as it would have been nice to take a "we escaped!" photo as a memento of our success, but it might be a post-COVID thing. I would recommend doing an escape room here! Bonus - they offer a discount on select restaurants nearby for you to dine at before or after your room (same day).

The Diamond heist was at an acceptable level for a medium room and it was fun. The staff were felxible on changes in booking and refunds. Maybe a little room for improvement in using different puzzles more.

My grandson and I had the most amazing time in our escape room. The staff was kind and helpful. Would highly recommend it and would definitely return and do another room when visiting Ottawa.

Awesome night! Went with my 11 years old son and my 18 years old daughter and her boyfriend. Had a blast, was able to escape within an hour. Great “family” building. Would recommend to anyone!

Hey! Each room can fit between 7-12 people. Our max capacity right now is 54 people, but that will also increase in the coming months!
If you have a group of 4 people you can request a private room. Smaller groups can sometimes be paired with other people as well, but as it is a team/group activity that generally helps your chances of escaping!

We are a group of 7 seniors and we all love challenging games. What would you recommend? 2 of us use a walker to move around...would this be a problem for us? We will be in Ottawa from Sept.2 t0 Sept. 6. What will be the best time to come? Thank you.

I am fairly certain I saw an elevator. Your best bet is to email them and ask about this and which room would best suit the physical limitations. We did the Castle room which you probably want to avoid. Otherwise you will have a great time!

The minimum age to participate is 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian. Based on the difficulty level of the rooms, one would have to be approximately 15 years old and participate with a group to advance through the rooms. Children around 10 years of age have participated with an adult or older teens and have a great time as well though! For more information visit the Jigsaw Escape Rooms website's FAQ section.
