We had beautiful weather during our trip, so we just wandered down here for a bit to see it when we also visited Nathan Phillips Square. It seems like a great idea for a city that sees very cold weather, but it was pretty empty down there currently.

Interesting to see, almost impossible to navigate, obviously GPS not working there, no indoor navigation system eg based on UWB present, insufficient signs to even locate subway stations, only worth to see and go back upstairs….. even locals sometimes don’t know the way :-(

Visited for a very small part causes lack of time, however a nice underground city maze. There are shops in all sectors, all clean and tidy despite the large influx of people.

Fascinating. A real city.
Store, food courts (minimalist), . On the part near Union Station, it's better to have a map!

Amazing gem of Toronto, so many hidden restaurants, cafes and place to shop! Beautiful find! It's great to find a way to navigate downtown Toronto without trains or automobiles.

We were lucky in the fact our hotel had direct link to the Path. It is a great way to go went the weather is either cold ar raining hard. As a visitor it was difficult to navigate at times and we existed in the wrong places at times.

This is a great idea but, in reality, it's confusing as hell! It's very hard to follow if you're visiting and aren't used to it, the signs seem to appear and disappear at random points and they're written in a style that don't catch your eye. Also, if you're trying to follow it on a map on your phone good luck, you regularly lose signal when you go below ground.

I found Path quite curious. Underneath each of those big, modern buildings in Toronto is a basement, and it's all interconnected! It's a big underground city. There are shops, restaurants, subway. Toronto is a cold place, it is essential to have the Path.

Trying to navigate my way through it was a bit of a challenge because even with the Google Maps it did not always put me in the right direction but I realized if you're just going from one end to the other you will probably be okay. The stores close pretty early but I noticed quite a few food courts and places to sit down. There was one section of it that I could smell urine but for the most part it was pretty clean and well lit. I like it because it's conveniently Underground and when it's cold out you don't have to battle the elements.

The PATH helped us stay out of the cold wet weather in Toronto when we were there. It helped also because our hotel and the locations we were going to was easily navigated to by the PATH system and maps. Nice to be able to go to Scotiabank arena from the hotel without having to go outside. The shops and restaurants were neat to see also.
A tip that we learned is navigate old school with street names and addresses and not with your phone through Apple maps or Google Maps until we were back outside walking on the street. At least our phones went crazy walking in the PATH system when we were trying to locate an address.

Does anyone know whether you can get south from the Eaton Centre towards Union Station When Saks/Hudsons Bay is closed? They lock the doors and I haven't been able to find a way round without leaving the PATH and going outside. Thanks!

Sorry - I always got confused with that section of PATH at the best of times and often ended up wandering around the lower sales floors of Hudson Bay. From what I could see though, it looks like you would have to go outside for that section when Hudson’s Bay is closed.

I want to use the path to get from cn tower to Easton shopping mall is there a map to show me where to go
撰写日期:2018年4月1日
yes. there are signs all over the place and maps every now and then. be aware that the maps are screwy and do not always have north at the top.
撰写日期:2018年4月2日
As you exit Union Station onto Front Street, cross the street to the RBC Bank building or the Royal York. Take the elevators downstairs and you will be on The Path.
It's also possible to get to The Path from Union Station without going outside. Just head north.

I am planning a winter trip to Toronto to see a concert. We will be walking from the Toronto coach terminal to the Air Canada Centre. Is the Path even near this?
撰写日期:2017年12月5日
The PATH does connect to the Toronto coach terminal as well as the Air Canada Center but once down there (in the PATH network) signage is not the best - there are basic maps near the main entrances from subway or parking garages, but better to figure your route in advance.
Thank goodness not too cold or much snow now but PATH will still be a big help.
Hope you have a nice time))
There is an online map (pdf): look for 1 toronto ca / static_files / economic_development.../PATH (sorry, TA does not allow HTML or links)
撰写日期:2017年12月5日
There are a number of entrances to the PATH as it covers a very large area. A map showing entrances can be obtained from the internet. I hope this helps.

I am not sure as I did not see anyone with them there but I would guess that you would certainly be allowed to have assistance animals and since many buildings link to places with condos, those owners have to get somewhere.
Try City of Toronto website to see if there is any info there.

Are there areas that have numerous clothing shops close together? Recent foot surgery + shopaholic = conundrum. Thanks!
撰写日期:2016年7月4日
Sure. You can take The Path to the Eaton Center. There's also the Hudson Bay Store, which is giagantic. You can easily spend a whole day in each of these places.
