The Coventry Gardens used to be beautiful and taken care of. Now there's a ton of garbage everywhere and it's overgrown. This garden is on the riverside. Coventry Gardens is an optional path. You don't have to follow this path

Short walk to the fountain from the parking lot, parking lot gets full on weekends, so be prepared to park at the overflow lot two blocks south.
While physically separated from the riverfront, it is still worth visiting. The fountain provides amazing waterworks as well.

Walk along the river, enjoy the huge water fountain then meander back through the garden rails and have lunch. Nice place to visit, you can spend a half hour or a couple hours here easily.

I've been to this park many times over the years and each time I go there I always get some ice cream and stroll around to see everything. I enjoy looking at the flowers, topiaries and the floating water fountain in the Detroit River. I find this park to be peaceful. There were even people there taking family and graduation photos with the river or the flowers/topiaries in the background.

I was so impressed with the Riverfront Gardens... then we took a drive down Riverside Dr and views the Homes on the river when we came across Coventry Gardens. This garden is a must see... love the Nuns Statues and the water show in the middle of the river. I have to say I was impressed Thanks again Windsor

This park is just so well done. The plants are lovely. Nice walk along the water. Many benches to sit and relax. Clean restroom, safe area. Lots of good parking.

Gardens are well-kept and offer pretty view. Nice walk along the River.

So glad we moved with in walking distance. Can be bustling with friendly locals and visitors and yet never too crowded.

The gardens were stunning when we were there in April. The daffodils and tulips were in bloom. The garden is a nice size and very easy to walk and enjoy.
