Please don't go here for your own sake

This literally the worst bar in Montreal with the worst possible people behind the bar. Rude and confrontational for no reason. You can walk just a few feet and have a much better experience elsewhere.

My favorite dive bar in Montreal

I am glad to see it's still open. I am worried about it's future. It's been over 2 years since my last visit and they still have great beer choices and great prices.. but the washrooms need to be updated. ... the people however .. have not changed.. very friendly patrons and servers. They still had popcorn.. but it was really salty. Looking forward to checking back in ... in a few years.

The same dirty dive bar it has been for over 15 years

I first went here in 2003 when I was in university. The place really hasn't changed since then. It's a dive. But, to me, having spent many nights there in my university days, it feels like home.

Cash only, by the way.

A busy bar with pool tables, popcorn, and sports showings. Great location and the bar tenders are nice.

This is not a terrible bar, it’s not a bad bar.. back home this would be a student union bar or something similar. It’s basic with poorly kept washrooms and a natural roughness which is probably intentional in way of character.

Yet there is no benefit to offset this - such bars might be cheaper, more fun and relaxed due to their lacking In pretention but there seemed nothing here to offset the underinvested environment.

One of my favorite bars in the Plateau area of Montreal

I have been here several times. Enjoyed each visit. Mostly due to reasonably priced beverages and extremely friendly locals. I always stop here. The servers are friendly and yes they usually have complimentary popcorn

I am so honored to be the first to review this place. I was surprised it was not on trip advisor.
