Plage avec beaucoup de branches mélangé au sable, manque de tables à pique-nique, entre 10h et midi l'eau était correct et chaude après il a plein de larves d'insectes qui ont commencé à flotter sur l'eau ca ressemble à des menés morts mais c'est des insectes dégueulasses j'ai arrêté de me baigner malheureusement. Aucune nourriture sur place sinon quand même belle journée.

Nice park. We visited on a snowy day in March. The trails are well groomed, and marked clearly which ones are from skiers, showshoes and walkers.
Parking was unexpected fee $7.75 for 2 hours and $9.75 for all day. Easy to pay with credit card. Easier just to pay for all day.

Es una linda reserva natural con muchos lugares para caminar en la naturaleza, la playa es muy linda e ideal para niños, ya que no es muy profunda

Cap St. Jacques Park. Nice rural park, and getting much larger now with Montreal's mayor backing an enormous increase in the size of the west island park. Hiking trails, bicycle trails, a small beach, organic farm, access to the Morgan Arboretum and more hiking in the woods and the Ecomuseum - a zoo of indigenous animals and birds, including raptors. I live near here all year and it is fun all year, with cross-country ski trails in winter.

We decided to go there around supper time on a Saturday evening, in one of those gruesome 40+ degrees humidex days.
The good: Even though it was 40+ degrees, there was a good breeze and it was super comfortable, even sort of cold when sun was going down. Water warm. Not busy (at the time we went). Paid parking close enough to beach. Pretty clean. Lots of shade areas on sunny days. Fireflies can be seen on the way back to the car.
The bad: Driving to paid parking confusing. Paid machine did not want to take credit card, prepare change. Garbage cans were full. No lifeguards and a “Do not swim” sign (people went anyway).
Very charming place and a hidden gem on hot days.

You never know what you may run into too. Today I was parking the car in the parking lot and here comes a Red Fox like literally less than 15 feet from my car. I have seen Deer, Coyote’s and today it was a quite impressive Red Fox. This park is about 40 minutes from downtown Montreal; there is a beach in the summer, cross county trails in the winter.

Mon amoureux y avait organisé mon anniversaire: nous avons eu une journée extraordinaire! Il s'agit d'une jolie plage de SABLE NATUREL dans une petite baie bordée d’arbres. Elle bénéficie de beaucoup de SOLEIL, alors apportez votre crème solaire et un chapeau! L'eau du lac des Deux Montagnes est plus chaude que le St-Laurent et, à cet endroit, le fond n'est pas profond. C'est parfait pour la baignade ou pour jouer au frisbee. Il y a un VESTIAIRE sur place, à côté du kiosque de location des kayaks et des SUP. Aussi, si vous arrivez tôt, il est possible de s'installer à une table, en retrait dans le petit bois, mais APPORTEZ VOTRE LUNCH car il n'y a pas de cantine ou de food truck. Pour les horaire et les prix, regardez sur Ville de Montréal qc ca / grands parcs.

Grand parc, bien pour les familles...loué un vélo car espace immense. Plage à l'autre bout du parc mais entrée payante ! Beau mais vide. Bien pour ceux qui veulent se reposer au calme.

Went with the whole family over to the beach side, adults, teens, toddlers, everyone had a good time! The place is clean, has many convenient garbage bins and port-o-potties. I didn't see any activities taking place, and we were told we can't eat on the beach, we have to do it only in the picnic area, that was a big minus for us because we wouldn't be able to watch the kids play in the water, but overall, very clean, and not far from the city!

Visited only the beach area of the park- access to the main park , which also has the working farm is a different entrance. The beach is clay bottomed covered with brown sand. Shallow water for good distance out so great for kids and first timers. Lots of well placed benches in the back under the trees, but bring your folding chairs if you want to be close to the water. Lifeguards keep watch from two towers and the crowd is pretty well behaved, although it would be preferable to prevent the usage of loud radios and other music producers. Portapotties are located near the changing rooms, and there is flush toilet facilities in the chalet 5-6 minute walk away. Lots of picnic tables scattered round the field and along the walking road round the chalet. Ideal for a family day .
