Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff person. Lots of information in that one facility. Without doubt worth the stop. Guessing it is probably really busy in the summer season.

We visited the information centre today as we had several hours to spend in Whitehorse. The lady on the desk was extremely helpful and friendly, and suggested various places to visit. She also even organised a taxi for us.

Well set out, spacious centre co-ordinated by friendly, knowledgeable staff. Groups are well catered for and able to move around the centre easily following their guide. Staff provide excellent service and we were delighted to follow up on their suggestions.
If you visit Whitehorse ( and you should) go to this centre first. You will have a more enriched, immersed experience if you do,

Stopped in here after arriving in Whitehorse and had a great chat with one of the staff members. She had great advice about things to do in the Yukon and everyday life in Whitehorse.

Stumbled in here unexpectedly on a recent trip to Whitehorse. I don't usually use visitor information centre services when I travel but this place convinced me that I should start. The extremely kind woman who was working at the centre was SOOOOO informative and so helpful. Because of her, we did and saw things that we otherwise wouldn't have seen and done. Plus the short movie on the Yukon that we watched was great to see. Thank you so much for the information, kindnesses, and recommendations!

Sorry this is so long getting to you. I didn't know there was email on Trip Advisor site. In White horse we stayed at the Walmart for about 3 day going and about 2 days coming back. Right beside Walmart is a gas station and it has gas, propane, a dump station and fresh water. The Canadian Tire right next to Walmart has WiFi and it is free and a good connection for downloading emails etc. There is a campsite out of town a bit but we choose not to go there partly because of price and they also had limited hook up (no sewer). We would have to move anyway so we decided to stay at Walmart. The first night we stayed in Walmart there were 43 other RVs in the lot. By the way Walmart is free.
