Great conference Hall! I visited Palexpo in February 2024 for Geneva Motor Show. It was great, the expo Hall is really comfortable itself.

The venue is very convenient to the airport but trying to get even a cup of coffee is an ordeal. The queues for the catering stands were interminable. There just we’re not enough of them. Similar to the cloakroom queue, I resorted to bringing my case with me as the queue would have easily been an hour. There wasn’t even a vending machine to buy a bottle of water. I had to leave the exhibition early as I needed to eat and rehydrate. Really not acceptable when the footfall can be predicted at these events.

The mobile car show has always been an annual fixed stop in the company of my father, as we both have a passion for cars.
I was expecting a great return to Geneva, considering the several years it had been closed due to COVID and instead we only received ONE GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT.
Very small and compact room, only 2 Halls and that's it. The only fairly recognized classic brands were Renault and Dacia and Isuzu, the others were all Chinese brands of which they looked very similar to each other.
In place of other houses there were more spaces to rest, play and bars than anything else.
In addition to the fact that there were no other brands (which the site initially stated there were), after having had the ticket scanned (with the possibility of NOT leaving), they checked our backpack and made us throw away 2/ 3 sandwiches and 2 plastic containers (the ones used at home to divide food or carry it around), with other products to eat inside...
So having said that, I wasted a total of 10 hours of travel to see 2 empty Halles and to have my lunch thrown away.
Thank you Geneva Motor Show, you ruined the only thing that made me enthusiastic and that allowed me to go back to being a child.

From Turin, 4 hours by bus to see an embarrassing display of 30/40 new machines, mostly Chinese or from South East Asia (brands almost unknown in Italy) displaying machines with exaggeratedly expensive setups.
Renault, Dacia, MG and little else complete the salon.
Missing: the entire Stellantis group, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Volkswagen, Opel, Ford, Skoda, Volvo, Honda, Suzuki, Hyundai, and many other famous brands.
It's easy to find more brands in a multi-brand dealership than in this miserable showroom which, among other things, celebrated its 100th anniversary with a nice display of vintage cars from the 1920s to recent times (the best part of the visit)
In conclusion..... a tiring and not at all satisfying day.
If they were to propose it again next year, (among other things... we're talking about the usual Arab interest in an exhibition in the Emirates), I definitely won't go.
If you are passionate about vintage cars, I suggest a visit to the MAUTO in TURIN where you can follow the entire history of private transport from its dawn to today with many cars on display in a truly evocative setting.
Good, I'm giving this review one star because you can't do less
Last but not least..... at the entrance they do not allow sandwiches and/or even packaged foods to enter which are thrown into a rubbish bin at ticket control and force visitors to buy the food inside at exaggerated prices.

Car show
They made me throw away the bananas before entering. Salon visited in just 2 hours as it was minimal, 4 marks across and also poor. A total disappointment

Pitiful presentation of a few mainly Chinese and electric cars.

This show is a great scam only 2 exhibition halls!!! Unworthy of the Swiss!! Scandalous, I will never go back, visitors are made fun of, the entire 1st hall is cars seen and reviewed for years in all the shows and then nothing interesting

After having stamped our tickets - with no possibility of leaving - they told us that we could not bring any food inside. We asked where we could leave the sandwiches and they pointed us to a rubbish bin. After touring the stand of historic cars and a small stand with Renault and a few other Chinese brands we asked for Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Hunday etc. and they told us that the show was all there, no prestigious brands had shown up.
Shameful, on the site there were 5 stands indicated, there was only one

Completely rubbish car show. All German manufacturers absent. No Ferrari or Lamborghini stand. You did the tour in 2 hours. They filled half the space with old cars. Never seen this before. Don't go there, you will lose money for nothing. Ticket purchase too long. Everything is null.

Palexpo seemed very well organized and the distance to the airport is great.
