Jika anda suka suasana kampung yang nyaman & tenang sini adalah destinasi yang perlu dilawati. Tidak jauh dari Kuala Lumpur & laluan yang mudah menjadi faktor utama untuk dilawati.
Percutian ringkas kali ini saya memilih Riverside kerana maklum balas dari kawan2 yang menyatakan kemudahan & suasana yang menarik disini.
Saya memilih challet semi D yang berharga RM200. Bilik yang selesa selain dilengkapi dapur BBQ untuk kemudahan memasak. Jika nak mandi sungai hanya perlu melintas jalan. Dekat & mudah. Terdapat kedai makan, kedai runcit & surau didalam kawasan riverside. Masjid Janda Baik pula hanya sekitar 500m.
Kelebihan : Kawasan meletak kenderaan yang luas. Sekiranya anda mengambil Challet boleh parking didepan challet. Terdapat pondok di tepi sungai yang boleh disewa sambil mandi & meletakkan makanan @ peralatan.
Pekan Janda Baik tidak jauh dari Riverside memudahkan mencari makanan, peralatan BBQ & barangan runcit.
Kekurangan : Air sungai akan bertukar keruh & deras sekiranya hujan.

Room looks so new. and clean. Our car parked right in front of the chalet. Do be careful, as you will be parking right below a durian tree. We got a 1 Queen size bed and 1 Single bed, enough for a 2 Adults + 2 Kids. This place is surrounded by amenities, restaurant is few steps away. Food carts are along the roads. You'll never run out of food. Do try the Apam Balik Leleh across this chalet. Heaven-lllyyy! Night can be so quiet, great for those who want to getaway. Just across the road, there is a river stream where you can dip yourself in. Ensure you get in before 9am, as the crowd will be coming in around 10am. Great 1 night stay.

Rude staff, very bad management. We already pay rm15 for pondok rental. Suddenly, the staff said we need to go out and find another place because the pondok that we have alreay paid have been paid by other family (they rent chalet beside the pondok-which is they bribe the staff & paid depoait for the pondok rm20-which is the pondok have been paid by us early). They make their rule but broke it. Staffs & management need to learn how to manage business properly. People who want to rent at riverside, they need to paid more unless you need to find another places (which ia way better)

Okay fine despite the bad review of this place, I have to say a few truth from my own experience. This is my second time here and most of the time the communication with the staff here is quite smooth and friendly, yes they do have a no booking rule, just walk in. It's a hidden gem in Janda Baik, so not many people know about the place.
+ Its super quiet and river is clean and soothing
+ Very relaxing during the stay if you are into nature
+ The BBQ facilities are they for your utilisation so make use of it
- The room is not the cleanest but is livable
- Shower and toilet facilities if you stay in one of the Pondoks you have to walk across the road.
- Price
Please do come if you are the type that loves the nature and camping out. Tips before coming, bring a few more blankets as it can be quite cold during the night, get something to BBQ and some charcoal to start the fire. They have electricity just below the Pondok ( BBQ area ) so you can plug in some of your electric cooker.

Very nice river. Kids will enjoy dipping in the river. Good facilities prepared around with proper shades and BBQ facilities. Highly recommended.

This is a river where you can dip yourself in chilly water. You can also rent a float to float around. It could be crowded during public holiday or school holiday. Overall it’s good back to natural.

Not recommended. Very rude owner. Please go and learn how to manage your anger. As a business owner you should know how to deal with rejection.
Oh ya, please amend your "no booking" rules. Because u dont know your own rules. People booking on the same day & go somewhere else is still "BOOKING". Payment RM10 to sit by the riverbank is quite expensive because we are not using any of your facilities. BTW u dont deserve any star. 👎👎👎

Owner make the rules but they broke the rules. No booking for Pondok at riverside , but when we came early morning n saw no body at the pondok and we plan to pay the deposit but unfortunately they told the pondok already paid by someone else.
They refuse to listen cusmoter's voice and very arrogant with customer. They said dont tell them how to business. They ask us to move from the riverside.
The place is nice, but the owner n management so rude. better go another place that can serve you better.
