Lovely park overlooking the water. Some features along the path from a big ship to memorials to a pretty tiled path. Some historical points by the steps down to the beach.

Visited on Saturday 25th February. There is plenty to see and do here. There is the Mathew Flinders Cook Lookout and an info board explaining how this point was used for military purposes. There is some shaded areas to enjoy a picnic or bbq with plenty of parking. Well worth going to check it out.

Visited a couple of times on our recent visit to Hervey Bay. First visit was to check out the park and go for a walk along the beach. Second was when we walked from Urangan Pier up to the park and back again, gives you a different perspective of the area. Well worth doing even if it's in the car.

Point Dayman Park is right beside Reefworld. Lovely sheltered tables, kids playground, a native beehive and musical play instruments. Walk up a small hill to the lookout where there's a ship statue and memorial war statue.

Visited on Monday 3rd August. We stopped here to look at the view as well as the War Memorial. Great park with picnic area and parking.

A beautiful park with plenty of seating and lovely planting all well cared for.Great signage with info on relevant statues and points of interest. Plenty of parking and beautiful water views. A great place to sit and while away the day.

Celebrating a friends birthday, we met here for breakfast. Well maintained and plenty of parking made it easy. The undercover area was comfortable and we spilled over onto tables and chairs nearby. Plenty of bins for cleanup. The view was lovely and the memorials well done and informative. A credit to the town.

My daughter was married here a few weeks ago, beautiful spot, fantastic views. Excellent spot to have a wedding.

We were driving around Urangan one beautiful morning and came across the Dayman Park and Matthew Flinders Lookout which is a little hidden .. so glad we stopped and explored the park.
Great sea views .. plenty of parking .. loads of green lawns with seating dotted throughout the park.
Check out the small replica of the Ariadne which was the first ship to sail directly from Liverpool to Maryborough in 1862.
