The Cha Ong waterfall is about 8.7km from Ban Lung, near Cha Ong village. It’s the most visited of the waterfalls around Ban Lung and probably our favourite of the lot. To get to Cha Ong waterfall, head west on the main road out of town and take the right turn a few hundred metres after the bus station. Go along this road for about 6km until you reach the waterfall.
Sometimes the journey to a place is just as delightful as the destination itself and with the Cha Ong waterfall, this is certainly the case. We were captivated by the beautiful undulating landscapes that we witnessed on the way out to this waterfall. When you reach the waterfall after descending down a slope, you can walk into the space behind the waterfall and observe the green forest through a curtain of fine mist and falling water.

Van Banlung zijn we verder getrokken naar de volgende bestemming. Ook even gereden langs deze waterval. Is mooi om te zien, maar niet spectaculair. Je kunt een ticket kopen voor 1$ voor een hele dag.

Нам повезло, мы видели радугу на этом водопаде. Добраться до него непросто, но мы не искали легких путей. Мы искали водопады.

Il n'était pas a sec ! Nous étions chanceux (visite au mois de février)
En revanche. Le site est à l'abandon.

Une journée qui a commencé fort avec la majestueuse cascade Cha Ong, d'une hauteur de 12m.
Pouvoir passer derrière par la grotte est juste génial !
Mais pour moi ce n'est jamais assez. Pour prendre de belles photos inédites, il faut toujours que j'aille là où peu ose s'aventurer, c'est-à-dire au pied des cascades, voire en dessous, ou tout en haut à quelques centimètres du vide.
En France, il y a longtemps que je me serais fais jeter avec toutes les régulations dont on nous étouffe.

You can swim around in the pool below the waterfall. You'll want to get a moto or have someone drive you over here.

Cha ong waterfall is amazing, u can behind and explore a bit its like a huge cave behind. Its surrounded by such beautiful nature and is jungle like. I was with a young children just hold hands and enjoy as not suitable for older less abled bodies to climb all the way down. Very nice place xxx

Bella cascata. Si può osservare da sopra oppure passarci sotto attraverso una cavità. La strada per arrivare se ha piovuto da poco, è terribile, sembra di camminare sul grasso. Con la moto si deve andare pianissimo. Meglio la sera, sarete i soli sicuramente....
