A very pleasant place to visit with family and friends. This memorial looks grand and a small lake adds beauty to it. There is a small cafe within this place. Toilets were clean.

- A well-maintained War memorial, with life-size statues of Sikh warriors.
- Memorial also has an open theatre. In one of our recent visits, we witnessed a play ongoing on the story of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur.
- Washrooms inside the premises were neat and clean.
- Recently they have started illuminating the tower at night, representing a beautiful view. We live nearby, so it looks beautiful at night.
- Ample space or parking. Entry and parking are free of cost till now.
- Prefer coming from Kharar-Landran main road. Backside road condition is not so good.
- Overall, We find this place great for capturing pictures and evening walk :)

The place was so good and we discovered it accidentally.
I would surely recommend this as a Must Visit on a visit to Chandigarh / Mohali. The place has beautiful landscaping and very well kept.

Se trata de un monumento de guerra con características de recreación de la batalla de Sirhind. Banda Singh derrotó a los mongoles en este lugar (Chapparchiri). Las explicaciones en cada escultura son bien gráficas del hito histórico del lugar. La torre, altísima, hace las veces de torre de triunfo.
Recorrerlo completo toma una media hora, pero se puede disfrutar más en las bancas y los jardines, ya que es un sitio muy apacible. La fuente de agua centra le da ambiente más fresco.

They both are same, the rooms/halls beneath the statues should have been used to elaborate about the warriors. Travel from Landran road towards the memorial, don't the back road.

favourite name is chappar chiri , near landran.. thanks punjab govt , now our kids always remind what our old did for us .. there must be one visit of every class students from every school and punjab govt has to arrange some local guide there to demonstrate .. must visit there , if you are near to chandigarh

its very good job done by Punjab Govt. at Chapper Chidi , Kharad They have erected a war memorial in the memory of a great warrior Baba Banda Singh ji Bahadur who took revenge for the brutal execution of Chhotey Sahibjadey its good place to spend time with family nd tell them about history
