Hier oben am Schwanberg steht diese moderne Kirche St, Michael. Weit ab des Alltags-Lärms, oberhalb der Rödelseer und Iphöfer Weinberge. Das moderne Ambiente lädt zum Verweilen ein. Wer mag findet hier für einen Augenblick Ruhe und Besinnung, ...Abstand vom Alltag. Ein Spaziergang im Schloßpark rundet den Aufenthalt auf dem Schwanberg mit Sicherheit ab. Für ruheliebende Zeitgenossen ein Geheimtipp.

The Celts worshiped their Godess Svanahild on Schwanberg.With Christianity establishing Schwanberg became a Place for Pilgramage.In the middle-ages a Chapel was build and designated to Archanchel Michael.1987 a church was build again and also designated to Archangel Michael.Spiritual Centre [established bySisters of "Comm.Casteller Ring']where Retreats are being held,Lectures ect.A Bookstore with spiritual Lit. Restaurant-Cafe next to it.Small lovely Patio,good food.Schlosspark to enjoy.But let's not forget-Schwanberg has great hiking-trails.Start in Roedelsee,up to Schwanberg-then decide wich direction to want to hike to.Castell or Iphofen or Wiesenbronn ect. The trails are very well marked.It all can be a 'Holy Experience'!

Protestant Congregation Church St. Michael, consecrated 1986, an architectural jewel of the Munich architect Alexander Freiherr von Branca. In fact, if one is in Schwanberg one can visit the church, but if one intends to make a special U-turn to visit the church, then do not bother...
