Food for the price we paid was unacceptable, Sunday carvery ( roast was very nice) frozen side dishes, no way the stuffing or Yorkshire puddings were home made. The lamb hot pot for 14.95 was like a side dish. We had someone in our group who has dementia, when taken to the toilet we found every toilet seat broken, I would hate to think if they had been alone what would of happened. The bar staff were polite, but they should be given more training when asked about food tolerances, 3 times they went back forward to ask. It is written on bar notices to ask, that should mean all staff know about these things. For the price we paid and a establishment like yours, everything should be freshly cooked that day for that reason we would not recommend you.

Had a good walk around the park, lots to see and do. Shame they were renovating the playground but still enjoyed it. Would recommend

We had a nice walk through the country park and it was really peasant and really enjoyable, we had a great view of the Humber bridge and the river Humber, really enjoyable.

This is a great to get an awesome view of the Humber Bridge. There are also some good walk and trails to do plus you can get on the coast!

A nice place to explore and walk with kids (4 and 7yo). Easy pathways with some well maintained steps too.
Some lovely spots to sit and eat.
There are no toilets due to them being closed for Covid reasons, so go somewhere beforehand if you have small children.

a long walk with so much to see and do. Can bike, jog or walk in this park. So many trails to follow

This was our first port of call on our way to spending 2 nights in Hull over the August Bank Holiday. We had been a few years earlier before it was improved and I knew there were good views of the Humber Bridge.
The place is obviously popular and very busy.
The day was sunny and warm and we enjoyed a couple of hours walking the trails - although we did end up at a dead end when trying to make our way back to the river by an alternative path.
Although we had a very nervous dog with us and we had to pick her up, we didn't have any problem with other owners or dogs - as the previous review.

I live in walking distance of little switzerland. I can only say since COVID the place has gone greatly downhill. Responsible dog owners can have their dogs unleaded. If this means that their dogs can be away from their owners and come up to a leaded dog then they are “responsible” (I scratch my head). We have been verbally abused and sworn at for picking out dog up as he is reactive. That tell us their dog is friendly but cannot see what they do to our dog. There is dog poo everywhere. I was walking the other day and my dog was on her lead and was on extended when some cyclists came from behind us. I could not get the lead back in time and he had some really loud hooting thing that he used. I reacted by kind of jumping out my skin and he stopped and stared at me. The place is a place of nightmares for us but it is our local area for walking. This is a lovely place that is being totally ruined by the people that use it. It makes me so sad. I am now putting my house up for sale not just for these reasons but personal ones but I will so enjoy taking my dogs somewhere more relaxing.

We went to see the bridge. It was big and long. The park was nice too but a lot of it stank of fish poo and guts. We didn’t drive over the bridge as my partner didn’t want to pay the toll. She was happy the parking was free and insisted we saw both sides of the bridge and underneath (please refer to my photos). The toilets aren’t great but at the end of the day they are just used for wee and poo. Not exactly one of the wonders of the world but suppose it’s decent if you need to get a covid test or cross over the Humber (if you are prepared to pay the toll which she was NOT)

Had a great walk around here today...beautiful woodland walk ending up at the humber where there is a small kids play area. Free parking (main car park is currently covid testing but there's a small car park just next to it). Would definitely come back
