My time at Rollacity was absolutely terrible. Extremely loud music, unhelpful staff, "hot" food took over an hour and it was freezing cold. The lockers took 20p to open EACH time, and even then the one we used didn't work. I feel like my money has been wasted. My friends and I are never going back there again.

Come here today for my little sisters, 10th birthday party, all of the staff members were absolutely friendly, especially Amie who was the party host. It’s been years since I last come to Rollercity and it’s had a great revamp! Really recommend!

Too loud, too busy, horrible flashing lights!
What an awful experience.
Had to shout to friends to talk to them.
Awful DJ & loud music.
Far too busy, health & safety nightmare.
Not enough seats as over crowded.
Food was OK, good prices. Wait wasn't too long.

Took my daughters aged 5 and 9. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves. One of the steward's helped my 5 year and my 9 year old took to it like a duck to water. They have asked to go back so will be going back next week
Found the staff pleasant and helpful. A little busy perhaps in the afternoon but hey it is the school holidays

Roller skating is fun but there are better places to do it if you dont mind travelling a little (Colchester etc). If you have to stay local then I guess this rink is better than nothing. Rink surface is in reasonable condition but the overall size is small so it feels as though you are constantly cornering. Music is what you would expect, OK but nothing extraordinary. Games played at times (Limbo etc). Decent amount of rink marshals keeping an eye on the safety of the skaters. Very little amount of space for spectators, I dont know how Rollacity have the cheek to charge for spectators when they dont provide a proper area where you can see the rink, and the whole area was littered with used cups, plates, rubbish etc, I dont know why some humans cannot be bothered to put their rubbish in the bins! Cafe was about all I would expect of this type of place, average at best. On the busy Saturday afternoon I visited it took 40 minutes to get a coffee, if i go again i will nip out to the macdonalds at the airport for a takeaway coffee as it would take less time to drive there and back for a drink than stand in Rollacity's queue. Toilets are upstairs which is ridiculous for a skating rink. I get the feeling this rink was crammed into a building too small for a skating rink. To summarise, better than no rink at all but if you dont mind travelling a little the skating experience can be far superior.

My family and I attended Rolla City last night for my birthday celebrations and my mother in law experienced an accident and I can’t express how helpful the staff were. My boyfriend was obviously very distressed and Claire (a staff member) helped calm him down and kept coming to check on him. There was also another man who stayed with her the whole time and was asking the crowds politely to move away! So thank you to the Staff working last night who helped us so much!

Had my daughters 7th birthday here. Staff were so helpful setting up party room for us, running around getting food orders and ensuring that children had enough adults to skate for free with them so they could enjoy it and stay safe. Well organised. Daughter had a great time

Came here today, loads of traffic on the way, so with guests arriving late they allowed to skate for a little longer and still took time to play all the games. All the girls had a fantastic time, they took special care of the birthday girl and made her feel special. Cannot thank the staff enough for making it a wonderful night , would highly recommend for a birthday.

Hosted a birthday party at rollacity today. So impressed with the staff, food, music and the venue overall. Well organised and nothing was too much trouble. 18 happy children who had a great 2 hours and didn’t want to leave. Thank you for a great experience and will definitely be returning more often.

Visited today with a group of ten children ranging from 9 to 13. All of us spent a good 3.5-4 hours skating with a variety of music, so something for everyone. Games are put on several times throughout the day which don’t get in the way of the skaters if you don’t want to join in. The food was good for this type of venue. A few of us are vegetarian which also had a good selection to choose from. Overall everyone had a great day and for a very reasonable price.
