Doesn't take long to wander round but a peaceful and interesting walk. Saw 2 cormorants on the island. 2 white geese 2 canada geese and their 4 babies, and numerous ducks . Went on a tuesday and popped along to the market too.

Not bad for a short local dog walk. Well kept grass area and lake. Popular with fishermen. Low flying planes can be irritating

Just a short walk from where I live but have never ventured through the gate. Very pleasant stroll watching the people fish . Will bring some food for the ducks next time.

This is a nice. Peaceful place to have a leisurely stroll around have a picnic if you want to or just take a slow stroll around the lake where sometimes you will meet people fishing stop for a chat

Lovely place for a bit of peace and quite also the ground over the little bridge for picnics
no parking though only a small area for dropping people off but plenty of parking in Rochford just up the road. Many ducks, swans, and other waterfowl if you want to fish you have to have a licence lots of big fish even if you do have to put them back.

This is one local place I love to visit occasionally. It's easily accessible by car, train, bus, and by foot. The reservoir is sited on the outskirts of Rochford square (the main shopping street), and is literally just across the road. It's a peaceful, scenic, and pleasant place to go, for either a walk, to sit in, or to draw/paint, or take photographs. The large lake has swans, ducks and geese there too. There are seats/benches placed around the reservoir at regular points, and you can also take a longer walk onto the hill aside it. This place is well-maintained. A thoroughly nice place.

Situated by a main road in Rochford, a walk around the reservoir brings a feeling of peace and quiet. Whenever I need to recharge my batteries I take a short walk down to the park and reservoir. The wildlife is abundant and entertaining and well worth a visit even on a wet day.

A very well kept lovely circular walk around the fresh water pond. A great place to walk the dog on lead. Very picturesque landscape with the odd fisherman here and there. A small island for the ducks and geese.
At the back of the pond is a couple of small bridges leading to a raised green perfect for a pick-nick. a few trees about. This is situated between the train station and the fire station. Worth a Sunday afternoon stroll with kids. Sainsbury's opposite and a few pubs and eats nearby.
